I wanted to share with you all my favorite wash n go combos for my type 4 hair. It is so important to me that my combos have moisture, definition and longevity. And these check off all of the boxes. I highly suggest you try these combos out. I hope that you all enjoy!

I completely agree with you on using a leaving conditioner under my gels. I need 7 days of moisturized, defined hair. Great combos.

I am still using the Kinky curly knot today and curling custard combo! After trying sooooooo many gels (I, too, am a wng girl), I still cannot find a combo that works as well for me. I live in Florida so I can’t really do the high glycerin content except in the midst of winter.

I love these products! I have a couple of recommendations for you to try. I absolutely LOVE The Mane Choice Cheers Gelato with Ecoslay Jello Shot!!! Alikay Naturals Lemongrass leave-in conditioner and gel is also a great combo!

Hey Antoinette 💕 Thanks for the recommendations! I have cheers gelato and it was a fav but after this whole change of ingredients mess with the Mane Choice, idk if I should even recommend it anymore lol. But I will def try this combos out ☺️
A lot of combos to add to my list! So many people have to me to pick up jello shot and then the NLS okra gel is on my list for Black Friday too. I'm not planning to go too crazy during BF but we all know how that goes 🙃

I LOVED the NLS Okra gel and I paired it with the NLS Avocado Moisture Cream.
A lot of nice favorite combos.💜 I've used kinky-curly and have used it almost since it came out. I really enjoy Curl Maker, and I use a little ICH as a topper over UFD from time to time as needed. My favorite combo is Obia Naturals Curl Enhancing Custard on top of UFD.🥰 I can't tell you which leave-in might work with that combo because I don't use a leave-in with it. The UFD gives me enough moisture.
I love the UFD under Obia Naturals curl enhancing custard too! I've used it with several leave-ins at this point: the ShescentIt Tahiti cocktail leave-in, the Shescentit royal honey and argan leave-in milk, the Obia Naturals curl moisture cream, the Nature's Little Secret Banana leave-in, the PJN snap back curls leave-in and maybe a few others. The only thing I didn't love under it was I once tried the buttercream (which is light for a cream which is why I tried it, but heavier than the leave-ins I mentioned) from the royal honey and argan line and the UFD didn't seem to like it. It wasn't as slippery. Still didn't give me curdling or flakes though.

UFD and Obia Naturals custard is also my favorite combo.

I Love Kirltini, jello shot, curl maker, Bee girl and the okra curl defying gel. I haven’t tried Innersense gel yet.

I agree wholeheartedly-my hair NEEDS at LEAST a leave-in on underneath a gel or I won't use it. It's naturally dense and coarse and a gel on it's own in my hair is a recipe for disaster. I need a reliable layer of moisture underneath, period.

Yes me too, Jelloshot is bomb!!! Kurltini is new to me abd now a must have too. I am going to test both on my hair at the same time.
@@mymiracle79 JelloShot is a favorite with UFD for me. I don’t like it alone. I gotta try Kurltini. It might substitute Jello Shot because I won’t have to put it in the frig. I have to say though you do get a generous portion from the JelloShot.

@@mymiracle79 I’ve tried several leave ins with JelloShot and the UFD works best for me. I don’t like extra hard hair.

Thanks for sharing your favorite wash and go combos' for this year! I will definitely be trying some of them! I, like you, love a hard-holding gel that will last. But I also want it to be moisturized. One of my favorite wash and go combos is the TGIN super moist leave-in mixed together with their butter cream daily moisturizer (you can use less of each since you will combine them), blend together in your hands and apply to each section. Then top that with the hard-holding gel of your choice, like Eco or Wetline. The results are a firm hold yet moisturized feel to the hair!

😊😊NJ I love watching your content and the products you use for your beautiful hair. I am a dental assistant and wanted to tell you that you have such a pretty smile. When you speak I see that you have amalgam fillings in your back molars . Dental Amalgam filling are only used in the US other countries have discontinued use decades ago because it has dangerous mercury in it at least 50% and it leeches into your body. There is a clear filling that is hard just like the dental amalgam but is not dangerous is strong and safe enough for back molar it’s white and blends perfectly with your tooth enamel called a composite filling. Please get those out ASAP for your health and safety which is my only concern for you. God Bless🙏🏽
Hi Shirley, I was thinking about getting the fillings that look more like my actual teeth for cosmetics reasons but had no idea about the mercury. can you share details on how I would go about this? I am assuming they would have to remove the filling I have now and replace it? Thanks!

I think you should try the Innersence gel with Texture ID styling cream. It surprisingly worked with everything, I think the cream is magic!

That s how I use the Curlmaker or UFD curly magic , they are secondary leave ins for me. I would like to use this Bee girl gel, need to try Ecoslay.

The last time I used innersense, I did it with the Design Essentials almond and avocado mousse and it came out good! Still crunchy, but more moisturized. Maybe that line’s leave in could work?

Hey Kearsten 💕 to be honest I can’t remember what the original wet line was like, if I notice a difference. I think the new one may be more moisturizing but I’m not sure lol.
Innersense is pure 🔥 try using Uncle Funky's Daughter Curly Magic as your 'Leave-in' under the Innersense. Trust me you won't be disappointed!
How can you tell if your wash and go is dry if you have a gel cast? To me, hard translates to dry so idk when it's moisturized or not
Feels your strands for smoothness. Also, pull your curls! If they bounce back without breaking off, you’re good! Moisture is about elasticity!
Mix coconut oil (or any oil perhaps) with your hair gel. Gives a firm hold without drying ❤
Hey Nisha. Kinky-Curly is a great brand. However, it seems as if their products only work well with each other. I’ve yet to find any other product that pairs well with KC. Ecoslay is fantastic. Why don’t you try Pattern Beauty’s leave-in with the Innersense gel? I mainly use Pattern products. I LOVE that every single product of theirs pairs perfectly with one another. Nothing curdles. It would be nice to see a battle between Jello Shot and the Kurltini. That should be interesting🥰💜.
