"Not everything needs a remake!" Okay, yes, I agree, but...hear me out here...Star Fox 1 & 2 remake. Eh? It's been over 8 years since the last Star Fox game, why not not only remake the first SNES game, but the previously-unreleased Star Fox 2 prior to the NSO & SNES-Mini prior to. It'd at least be more of a surprise than remaking Star Fox 64...again. I'd love a new Star Fox more than the next guy, but replaying the classic that started it all in a remade format, say maybe the Zero style (sans the niche combat style which...no)...that'd just be tops. :D This was a phenomenal Nintendo Direct. I can't remember being this excited from a Nintendo Direct since...the LAST one, lol! XD
Well, darn. Guess I can wait another month or three for any Z-A details...Still though! This one gave a lot of interesting-looking titles - I myself am already hyped for Brothership and Echoes of Wisdom.
@@BJGvideos in a perfect world, I would expect it to be a HD 2D remake, but with an option in visual settings to revert it back to its original 16 bit snes style.
@@CastmanGaming Idk it just seems like this trend is taking away everything that made Octopath's graphics special AND every game it's applied to that already had a distinct and unique art style
...You know, this is the third channel I have watched react to this that thought this would be the last Nintendo Direct to focus on the Switch... Has Nintendo even announced if they're working on a new console?
@@TheQuarterGuy Ah! My bad then. I know there have been rumors about a Switch successor on the horizon, I just didn't know Nintendo had actually said anything about it. Guess that's one of the drawbacks of avoiding Twitter/X. Thanks, QuarterGuy!
"AT LEAST THIS ISN'T MARIO PARTY 99"
Give it time
Dread it, run from it, Mahvel arrives all the same
"Dreams don't die!"
Eventually
IT’S MAHVEL BEYBEE!!!
Well Quartet guy, max loosed his mind after the mvc Fighting Collection announcement.
Nintendo you definitely cooked. Especially with Mario and Luigi Brothership, Zelda Echoes of Wisdom, and Metroid Prime 4.
Nintendo definitely cooked for this direct.

HD 2D remake for dragon quest. Now when we getting the same for Chrono Trigger?!
Yes, please.
God no! Chrono Trigger looks great! I hate to think of it losing its art style in favor of the new trend!

They have mentioned the successor to the Switch on Twitter dot com.
