- Having lived in Paris for over 30 years, fashion designer Vanessa Seward was born in Buenos Aires and grew up in London where she developed a love of vintage. Her CV speaks volumes: Chanel, Saint Laurent, Azzaro, A.P.C., with whom she recently launched her own label, and most recently a series of collaborations with La Redoute. Vogue Paris visited her in her modernist duplex apartment in Paris, designed in the 1960s by renowned architect Jean Dubuisson which she shares with her husband Bertrand Burgalat.

You should have named this one “Une FEMME Un Style”...this is the first of these that I’ve wanted to add to my Inspirations playlist. If I were in my 20s again, trying to find my way as an artist and an adult , I’d definitely look up to this woman. More of these, please!

Thank you for this beautifully produced document of one of my favourite designers. I have a few pieces from Vanessa Seward and her work with APC. Was really interesting to hear about her influences and what she is up to now, I love her apartment!

Heureusement qu’elle a eu la bonne idée de garder la déco d’origine pour cet appartement. Il est très singulier, témoin d’une époque, intemporel. Un musée léger et personnalisé. Cette femme a vraiment du goût et elle est si chic!
