Ms. Lena Horne was the epitome of beauty, brains, class, grace, talent, and style. It's ashamed that her parents wanted a boy first instead. It sounds like she went through so many changes just working to live out her dream and life's work. Hollywood writers, directors, producers and all that works behind the scenes are so greedy and filled with lists that so many hopes and dreams have been destroyed. All that glitters ain't gold.

She was what is now called a super ager. It's a little un-nerving to have one of them in your family. My mother is 94 and has less loose skin and better bloodwork than any of her 4 children, ages 70-62. When she dresses up she still turns heads, like Miss Horne.

He should not be allowed to work again along with the Mayor!!!!

Now with that being said back in those days I bet you didn't know that black men where forbidden to date/marry women with Lena's complextion, so naturally they were afraid to date women who looked like Lena!
