    I agree 100% that God should have the glory, amen my brothers, but I have a different opinion about the stance of a truck. Lowering a truck and putting forklift tires on it is NOT my idea of cool, I would've given it 4-wheel drive, lifted it, and put bigger feet on it. A truck should not fear speed-bumps or mud ;-)

    • @quickdeuce
      @quickdeuce 4 года назад +2

      You're for sure entitled to your opinion Dave but mine is 180 out from yours,, I LUV the lowered stance. Speed bumps? No prob,, just find another way into that parking lot or go someplace else,, simple enough. I had a LOW '63 Chevy II and at a few shows had to stack little blocks of wood to get over speed bumps but we got 'er dun. That was a long time ago,, now days guys just use bags,, blow ;em up and drive over the bumps then drop their hotrod back to Mother Earth and look cewl :).

    What an awesome video guys. I love how you keep it simple and low budget for us average hard working Americans that can't afford the $50k build jobs that most of the other channels do. I greatly appreciate the instructions and advice you give while working on the vehicles along with showing your christian beliefs. This is the first video of yours that I have watched but it sure will not be my last as I look forward to seeing a lot more from you. I also want to thank your sponsor MAXXD trailers, they look like great trailers and I want one. Keep up the great work on these ole' rides and please keep making many more videos.

      Agreed, I thought I was listening to to the "Roadhouse" sound track. I was waiting for Patrick Swayze to show up. Plus the editing could use a little help. Timelapse the trailer loading or edit it way down. Dosen't need to be 15 minutes worth of trailer loading. Other than that great video and fabulous workmanship.

    Truck looks great. I know there's a market for the patina finishes and on most of your shows it's awesome. This truck, though, I sure liked it a lot before it "turned rust" ...lol. Regardless, that's a mean machine. Another job well done. Keep it up. I'm liking your channel a lot. Good to see fellow NE Texans doin' good.

    This truck is a lot like my neighbor friend's truck from my high school years. I would love to have one especially with that engine. For my taste I would do everything mechanical but different cosmetically. I liked the original color and wheels. The lights and flame not priority but I appreciate doing what the owner really wants. You make great videos. I will keep watching. Other vehicles my cool neighbor had included a custom 1947 VW bug, a fast dragster '70 Camaro called Fire and Ice (blue fade to red color) and a serious drag boat which I actually drove once.

    41:31 This is how far i've gotten before needing to address the fact that thou shalt never withhold this type of sound information (How the truck sounds VS. music) even if there is to be a sort of reveal with a sound clip later, we, the people need to hear the truck first and foremost at any time possible, it's a Cadillac. Other than that the truck does sound real nice and awesome show, one of the few i could watch for an hour and a half effortlessly, you should be much bigger.

      I agree. The music killed the exhaust note right when it should have been the spotlight of that particular scene. My suggestion is pull back on the music a bit so that I can actually hear the wrenches and ratchets turning, engines firing, wheels peelin'.

      Appreciate the constructive criticism! We will take that into consideration on future videos! I showcased the sound of the exhaust and truck when i thought was appropriate and then pull back into the music so the scene could progress. We try not to linger on sections too long as our shows tend to be lengthy in nature, so i keep it moving. I apologize if i didn't let you hear it enough :/.

    great job!.....looks awesome. Can i ask... when you are all finished putting the patina on, do you actually put any sort of clearcoat on the trucks - or would that affect the patina?

    Why wouldn’t you replace wear items while you had it apart? Like brakes, ball joints, tie rods. Those rotors are toast!
