Do you get a decent amount of scholarship money from just being in the honors college and joining stuff? Because i’m an out of state student as well😭
Just because your in honors doesn’t guarantee you a scholarship but you are definitely more likely. Also make sure you completed your Fafsa and listed a&t as one of your chosen schools bc they can’t give you scholarships until you complete that. Another rsn my scholarship came in April is bc I completed my fafsa late instead of when it opened in the prior October. Your scholarships that you get now are based off of your gpa and the things you’ve completed in high school listed in your resume.
(Srry if this is a lot lol) but I would recommend not even solely depending on a&t for scholarships. I haven’t had to pay a dime this entire year but through multiple scholarships combined, not just the scholarship from a&t. Look up scholarships in your state , talk to your high school counselor for scholarship suggestions, I recommend Thurgood Marshall college fund scholarships , UNCF scholarships , etc. Now is the time to apply, apply for as many as you can !
