MAN is a monster
the last one was a total beast i think . All the rest had small capacity but that MAN monster beats them all with ease .
last (MAN) track I love it
Half of these trucks cost less than a Lamborghini or a Ferrari, but you’d end up having to help everybody that knew you move all the time.
I'm surprised the Oshkosh HET didn't make the list.
I like that the Americans painted a dump truck brown, gave it some tires and now its a "tactical" vehicle.
Definitely last 2 being a caterpillar mechanic I'd take the cat of course and use it for RV Exploring GREAT VIDEO 👍
Great video thanks! Would love to drive them all!
Dear Incredible Facts, Would you be so kind to tell me what is this relaxing music during your video? Many Thanks
Oshkosh didn`t make the cut unless I slept through that bit ?
Great video Thank you ...... What about OSHKOSH M978A4?
I like the Man Kat turned into an RV
When talking about diesel engines, you've gotta give the lb-ft TORQUE! These trucks use high torque to carry these big loads, not horsepower. Drives us, already neurotic, mechanical engineers nuts!
It is the engines capability to produce “work” that carries big loads. The amount of work an engine is capable of is measured in kW or bhp. A high torque rating over a wide band of engine speed is nice to have, but in the end you can get around low torque with low gearing. You can’t use gearing to get around a low power rating (kW/bhp).
I’m not sure you are a mechanical engineer...
@@AndreasBrOlesen
Wow way to overanalyze one sentence. You realize this is RUclips, not an ASME forum.
He's talking about big diesel engines and only quoting horsepower rating, not torque. Since torque output is much higher than HP in diesel engines. I just wanted to know the torque rating of the engines. I wasn't writing a thesis on the topic! Why are you suddenly bringing up gearing like nobody knows how the powertrain works. And yes, I am a mechanical engineer and you sound like some freshman in college lvl knowledge who just passed thermo and thinks they're the smartest person in the world. I took a break from actual engineering work to get on RUclips to find your pompous self.
@@AndreasBrOlesen next are you going to write an essay critiquing my characterization of engineers as neurotic? You proved that with the first post
@@J_McPhearsom Wow relax dude. You simple made an incorrect statement in your original comment "trucks use high torque to carry big loads". Then you state that it drives you mechanical engineers nuts, but why would it when the statement is wrong. To have an engine do work, yes you need torque if you want the work to be done at idle engine speeds, you need a lots of torque! but it is still the engines power rating that dictates how much work the engine is capable of producing. If you really want to analyse the engines power characteristics, you really need a complete power and torque curve anyway. Theres a reason why the power rating of a truck/tractor is often part of the model name, not the torque rating.
@@AndreasBrOlesen I was generalizing that the high torque generated by the engine (yes at low rpm) is responsible for the work (ft-lb) needed to move such heavy vehicles and loads. I refrained from specific terms like 'work' since my assumption is most ppl aren't engineers.
What peaked my interest are these large diesel engines, optimized for these applications and duty cycles. And yes if I really wanted to know, best to look the HP, TQ curves. To me, the narrator seems to be mentioning these mechanical specs without understanding.
Tatrapan is stil genial concept of chasis produced by Tatra. Nice hood, but all is on Tatra base..it´s main base of succes...
I agree, Slovaks could never produce it without Tatra base.
@@darenzy why the hate? :D:D:D anyone can buy the chassis and build on it ...its sold as an everyday item.
@@darenzy Tatra is slovak my friend...
As a German, you get absolute gasps. It is not called Merceidis but Merceedes. Also MAN is not pronounced MEN but M...A...N the reason is that it is called Maschinenbau from Nuremberg.
And yet the Germans insist on pronouncing Beijing as Peking.
Nice video and very informative and very entertaining and very satisfaction more videos.
And here you are thinking how the heck does a Bugatti Chiron cost 3 million dollars and do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in return for that price?! :)

07:33 - MZKT-741500, a tractor unit developed from the MZKT-7930
Mercedes trucks were impressive. Why no Oshkosh?
SISU and MAN 👍
Unimog ftw
I must be a very unobservative guy because it’s the first time I’ve seen this beauty
Missing Volat
Wow..... Ashok Leyland......
Tatrapan is based on trucks Tatra, czech truck producer. Nice modification, but still czech base...holding weight
Wrong, Tatra is totally Slovac made..
Yes, now TATRA is czech producer, but with the developing of these trucks helped many Slovaks too. It was czechoslovak brand in the past.
You forgot the LVSR from Oshkosh at 500,000 a pop
I like all...
The Iviko curser engine is a great choice, for my enemy. They are refered to as accursed engines.
Not so sure, my dad did 900.000km with it in Stralis 430. On the other hand that MAN's V8 is said to have terrible reliability.
2:16) In the US military, a 5 ton truck carries 5 tons cross country & 10 on paved roads.
I thought for sure the Oshkosh heavy tactical would be on that list.
nice video
tatra anytime.
You pronaunce JELCZ wrong - it's like YELLCH.
very nice
It's not MAN. It is M.A.N. - and abbreviation for the original cities for their factories.
This is how you pronounce Jelcz - Yelch
Todos los camiones militares están bonitos y don muy eficientes.
Los que más me gustaron .
Fueron el Mercedes Benz y el internacional Harvester .
I'm Australia so I have no bias towards any of these trucks, how ever I see a common issue across all of them, there no under body protection which going of current datat by 2021 should be by default, an absolute must!! Aside from that all of them look like they would do the job, it would come down to reliability, repair accessibility, parts availability and in general ease of maintenance.
Belo camião Mercedes Benz 🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹
Little information, the last one (MAN) was spelled wrong, each letter is spelled solo (M-A-N, Maschinenfabrik Augsburg-Nürnberg)
he doesn't spell it wrong... or are you spell DAF, FIAT or SEAT in the same way? No.... but DAF and the rest are not words, they are also shortcuts like MAN....or like normal people say - Man (and yes, BMW you cannot spell as a one word...well maybe in welsch its possible, but what I know)
Not a big fan of the determiner "the", huh?
It call M-A-N , not Man, Man!
M A N stands for Maschinenwerke Augsburg Nürnberg, which means, machine works Augsburg Nürnberg (Last 2 words are cities)
@@michaelm1944 so sieht´s aus!
Thanks, everything else hurts in the ears...
Kraz currently has 14 employees and the trucks are not being proposed to anyone. I'm afraid it's the end of these legendary beasts.
What about the Renault/ Mack defense Armoured Kerax 8x8, Mercedes Defence armoured Actros 8x8, Oshkosh Defense Global HET/ M1070A1 HET, Oshkosh Defense PLS, Oshkosh Defense HEMTT ? They all above the $175 000.
Especially the models with the built in cargo crane on the back.
I like how Kia just stuck a badge from a passenger car on the front.
Merc did the same
My choice would be the Mercedes-Benz 2733 428 HP.
Are you serious about the cost ?? 😏
I'll have a merc zetros.
Instead of buying "special forces specially built ultra XX heavy hauler 2020" Just buy a Scania...
You guys forgot the Scania!
Vvvvvvvv nice
I’d want that Merc if I could afford it!
I LOVE MERCEDES.
India India.জয় হিন্দ 🇮🇳🇮🇳
And the russian trucks for missile transport ?
TATRA!!!
Hi
DiamondT was the best.
Would you really wanna ride in a military vehicle with K.I.A on the front?
kekw) Some have no choice I think
I like all
Polish Jelcz 👏👏
The sisu trucks were especially made for lithuania and you didnt even mention it you can literally see on the lisence plate our flag and LT

I think every one of these trucks are in spintires lol
That Super Stalion is Copy of TATRA Phoenix :* 02:28
You are missing Arocs 8x8 SLT more capable than MAN which is in no.1
Is it a military vehicle? No.
Is the video about military vehicles? Yes.
Does your comment make sense? No.
@@walther2492 if you showcased MAN & Zetros as military vehicle, then Arocs also have made for military purpose. I hav driven one already in 8x8 configuration. So this comment make sense.
Slovak Tatrapan!!!
Where are the oshkosh trucks?
I may be wrong but I highly doubt the Kraz will be using Russian engines, lol
Using Before russian engine not now
Putin has a few Lada-engines on special...
@@ibubezi7685 buy fron huiguria
Jelcz you should read more like "yelch"
what about oshkosh M1070?
MAN & ZETROS 👌👌👌
Funny that the US bought that shit box off the shelf commercial truck from International. That thing looked like it was about to shake itself to bits.
Likely, they just went to uhaul, bought some old stock, painted them tan and sold them to the government for 300k each.
What about the French PPLOG with an aproximative cost of 426000 $ ? Or the Arquus ARMIS ?
These videos are not made to be accurate, but more to have the most catching title...
Snowrunner gang ?
Bro the maz uragan put this new trucks in pocket
Spot pubblicitario....Astra-Iveco?
Ashok Leyland stallion👌
KIA truck was de best
Kia?
Oshkosh
so how much will it cost in surplus
$12.50
treefiddy
Sisu
Why do the Navistar trucks cost soo much? I have always been an huge fan of IHC, but damn! Somebody took advantage of a US military contract. Maybe the US should go foreign for any trucks we carry contracts for.
LOL, those look like like the betaboy trucks.
America needs to STOP going foreign for Anything that we can produce.
America needs to hit foreign importers with huge import taxes like other countries do to us.
America needs to give companies incentives and tax breaks for keeping companies in America, or bringing them here.
All this bullshit importing and outsourcing is Destroying America.
We used to make it all, we can do it again.
Eff joe biden, his DemoNcrat CoWhores, and Everyday who voted for that RACIST Tyrannical Traitor

The Oshkosh you don't have
Its called M.A.N not MAN.
Nope! too many adverts
Bye bye
Which one is can hold nuclear.?
Topol M, intercontinental ballistic rocket - 1MT warhead. Whole vehicle is 47 tons
Air cooled................wait what
Yes old Tatra engine v8-v12biT is best for work in arctic and desert klima. walter cooling is very problematic in arctic klima you cant stop engine cca -50°c
@@kubec1314 i never thought about that thank you
Main reason large air-cooled large diesel engines disappeared in civilian use are the exhaust regulations. In military use, it matters less how much toxins a vehicle pushes into the air. MS
Das KRaZ-Werk ist pleite und hat seine Produktion eingestellt. Das gezeigte Modell ist nur ein Prototyp und wurde nie in Serie hergestellt.
M A N Not MAN
The tata truck is most powerful is use indian army
why need to much expensive truck? Remember war means distruction..what a waste of money.
Because it gives a higher chance of troops survival and winning the war maybe think before you comment some Radom crap
It's mostly German logic, just like in WW2 with their powerful, but complicated and overweight Tigers.
