Hi. I found your channel after watching TOMMY WHO "TIME OF OUR LIVES" MUSIC VIDEO on the channel of TOMMYWHO RECORDS. I found your channel on purpose, because it has been said that this is you who created the video (and here I mean exactly video material, not music). So I came here in order to say "WOW!", I applaud you! I have never see anything more impressive, interesting and exciting in the field of psychedelic visuals! When I watched first several seconds of that video I caught myself on thoughts that, first, this is something I need to watch, something that deserves to watch so I watched it from the beginning to end; second, I dont even need any drugs in order to catch the beauty and have a psy-trip with your video! This is amazing!
Based on my feelings and impressions, the key thing in that and this videos are psychedelic visuals, not the music. If its you who created all this video material and put it into the sequence making some sort of a psy-trip, then I think it will be great (from my perspective) if you continue to grow in that field of psychedelic visuals, psychedelic visual transitions, visual illusions, psychedelic visual storytelling.
Let me express my experience of watching your videos so you can use this feedback, if you wish, for your future works.
1. Like I said, music is not really a "player" here, its all about visuals, however, music can make me feel deep inside the story or not. For example in this video "Guardian Spirit" the best part of music is from 5:35 to 7:30 or so. What do I find there? Well, it sounds sexy so it better matches with the visuals of half-naked girls and the party atmosphere. Also, it sounds deep in terms of some trance, some hypnosis. So the music isnt the key but a good support. For example if it would be a story about ancient people living in the forest the tribal-style music would fit better, as I think right now.
2. You are super good already in the field of psychedelic-style visual transitions. By saying transitions I mean the way one image transforms into another image. So it creates an impressive story, a novel. I can see a hand and in a couple of seconds this is not a hand anymore, its a tree for example. So this aspect of visual storytelling is something that you are already good. Probably this is the main reason why I found your videos so impressive (so good so even no need any chemicals or drugs).
3. Psychedelic storytelling, as I see it, is something uniquelly yours. Maybe it should not be that narrow, maybe creating visual illusions as more wide-ranged area is your but ... but! From the point of my personal experience your stories are not deep. And I would like to follow the story more, I would like to be eaten by the story, to fall deeper so I can feel more, so your videos can touch my heart more. At the moment (based on what I watched) your videos are more like intellectually interesting but not touching the heart. Why is that? It seems to me that your stories are not really designed as stories. It might sound weird but it feels like I dont see a story in your storytelling, I can see scenes that change one after another but not the complete story itself. So I would like to watch some more story-ish video from you in future. Like what? Like what I said as an example above - let it me how people lived in the forst in ancient times - hunting, fishing, houses, wifes, husbands, kids, I dont know ... Im not going to tell you the story I want, its your imagination, its your creativity. I just want to show that from my perspective I would like to have more deep story that will touch my heart (not just well designed changing scenes).
