I'm a sucker for a talented or even an untalented musician playing music in public places. These scammers ruin it for the amateurs who are really performing. This really got going a few years ago and now most people understand it's all fake. I walk by and laugh at them and call them fakes. There will always be some new scam. Find people who really need help and be generous.

I play piano, and guitar at a very high level. I don’t like playing for any one. I play at least one hour or two a day. I would never play in the street, even if I was offered a thousand bucks an hour. But I have earned my (privilege) position, and those people faking it at the Walmart parking lot are poorly educated and have to resort to that kind of action. So don’t be so hard on them only god knows what they may be going through.
