FINALLY! Miss Tubman was one of the most revered and respected figures in the history of the Emancipation of black slaves. She risked her own life in order to free others from bondage!
This is LONG overdue! But I think the price of each set OR individual coins is quite frankly INSULTING to those who want to buy them to honor her!

I have 2 proofs. One triple struck and one double struck.
Great designs, but horribly overpriced. ($87 for the silver dollar, $54 for the clad half dollar, not sure what the $5 gold will go for.) Pass.
BTW the bicentennial of Harriet Tubman's birth was actually in 2022 (she was born in 1822), so it's actually 2 years late for that.
Well, personally, I'm not fond of any of them. Why? Because I don't feel like any of them actually looks like Harriet Tubman, especially the Gold coin. It looks like a young version of a white man. The Silver coin looks like a young version of a Mulatto woman with a couple pronounced African American facial features. And, lastly, one looks like an angry person who doesn't look like Harriet Tubman. They just added way to much European looking facial characteristics to me, and we all know what Harriet Tubman looked like. But, that's just my personal opinions. I was really looking forward to when Harriet Tubman's commemorate coins became available for the public to purchase. But I'm no longer feeling excited to own them. Maybe if they hadn't altered her appearance to show her at different stages of her life without actually having any physical photos of her during those times to compare and just used those two or three pictures of her that's been circulating this space for at least over half a century that we've become accustomed to I'd feel totally different and couldn't wait to order my set? But, again, that's just me. 🤔🥴🤷🏽♀️
