BUILDING A MODERN DOG BOWL STAND

  • It started with a problem of having a plastic dowl bog stand that just didnt look amazing, splashed water everywhere due to a thin outer edge, and just wasnt great over all. So I thought I would use some scrap wood around the shop to whip up this Modern Dog Bowl Stand for Mable (the cute pup). By the way these bowls are just some random dog bowls I found on amazon, 6 inches wide including the outer lip.

    Tools/jigs
    Table saw (Dewalt jobsite DWE7491RS) and accessories
    Milwaukee cordless M18 drill
    Ryobi Sliding Miter saw
    Pocket Hole Foreman by Kreg
    Assorted clamps
    Bosch Cordless Sander
    Titebond wood glue

    Wood Species: Oak Plywood base (hence the filling in with wood putty for painting) and Pine top
    My favorite things I used in this video: My taper jig (that odd looking sled that I made the legs on at the beginning) as its super simple a easy to use!

      @@jasonasbury2884 thanks! They are small 3D printed corner clamps my friend was kind enough to make for me. I used them to check for a good 90 degree angle, but you could use any reference really!
