I have to say you’re one of the only people I’ve seen demonstrating so many of his tools. You have reflect clips in here, shield breaks, ewgf, regular egf combos going. Shits crazy. I can’t wait to see what setups you come up with for rising jab combos.
You have no idea how much this means to me and how much I appreciate everything you just said. Thank you! When I looked up Kazuya montages I was afraid it was just going to be what I had and people have seen everything I've done, but I really didn't find anything really which made me uploading a longer video much more confident. I'm so happy to see this. Only thing I'm afraid of is a future lack of my boi, Ken, but I think I'm okay with it if it means more Kazuya.
Haha Ken will still be here but as of now I'm just playing and practicing Kazuya because he's so deep and difficult and insanely fun and rewarding. He is everything I wanted and more, especially after watching his trailer at e3 and his presentation.

Haha his reflector is ridiculous. Definitely satisfying sending back projectiles from campers or spammers and then they die at absurd percents
I wonder if Kazuya's can deflect Sephiroth's gigaflare? It would shocking moment if he did lol.

It's crazy what his reflector can do in terms of damage and knockback. One of the most satisfying things to do to spammers or campers
When I first saw the trailer, i hope hoping for electric. I'm so happy to see lots of electrics with kazuya. Smash did Kazuya better than street fighter x tekken imo
I remember after I saw the trailer I asked my friend who's a big tekken fan, "what should I expect from kazuya in terms of combos and things like that?" He said one word, "electrics." Watching Tekken then playing kazuya in smash and then going back to watching tekken, they absolutely gave so much attention to detail and love to kazuya and his moveset. How did they do him in street fighter x tekken?

pyras side b itself doesnt even kill until late 170% or even 180, and just that getting reflected by kazuya ONCE kills at 32%… not okay..

Thank you so much!! EWGF is absolutely he future, it's what makes this character go! As of now I'd absolutely say that Kazuya is not only the best FGC in smash but is undeniably top tier
Sweet combos, im gonna be trying to pick him up maybe, dunno yet, combos and damage output are insane and satisfying. Im terrible at ewgf or whatever its called its one of the few things that has me iffy on using him for real. I probably need to stop being a lil b and just practice it already lol

His damage output is absolutely insane, one of the best in the game for sure. You're right it's called EWGF and it's what makes this character go. If you're interested in this character definitely consider learning it, it's definitely a hard input but with practice it definitely translates to games and then you get to body people

@@tobiasterry7194 oh that's cool you play duck hunt! Well you don't have to necessarily drop him to play kazuya but you do have to put in time to learn EWGF. What makes it easier is if you input A while the down input instead of diagonal down
Good job as always man. Love your vids. I need some kind of help with Ryu and I figured I could ask here: how do you input Shoryuken fast enough after the strong up tilt? I still haven't tried doing the tilt with the c stick tho so maybe that's what I'm missing
Hey thanks so much I really appreciate this and I'm happy you enjoy the videos! Great question! In the videos it's heavy jab not up tilt. This will fix every issue you have inputting shoryu after

@@1122workout Yup. I can tell. Those combos are so awesome. I wanted to Smash Ultimate when Terry was announced, but the moment I saw Kaz's trailer, I immediately sent a link to one of my friends and I already knew that I had to get a Switch. Now I go back and forth between my Switch and PS4😄 Kazuya is easily one of the best characters of his own series, so I'm glad he still has a "Tekken" feel to him in Smash.

I was doing a little bit of lab testing and I don't know if it's true or not to get a small infinite with his up tilt with his auto turn around if you keep up the timing with moving back and forth?
Hmm I haven't tried that with just his up tilt, but I know you can get a small infinite with doing electric then down tilt then electric then down tilt repeat. I also saw GimR do an infinite with his down tilts as well. This character is insane and I love what people are finding out everyday. Also thanks so much for the sub I really appreciate it!!
What are your thoughts on Kazuya so far? (Also great video by the way)
Thank you so much!! My thoughts are that he is absolutely insane and crazy fun to play with the highest skill ceiling and one of the largest combo trees all stemming from EWGF which is a tough move to get down but the reward is absolutely monstrous
I felt like this was the same combo over and over.
I just rewatched it. There's not a single combo that was used more than once in this video, I try and make sure of that when making my videos actually. You might think it looks like that because a lot of combos started with down throw into electric and that's just an optimal way to start combos with Kazuya, especially week 1

What did you reflect against the plant? The ball?
The poison gas, and he held shield and reflected things from kazuya do way more damage and shield damage
With how many mix-ups Kazuya has, someone who can read their opponent optimally is, in my opinion, deadlier than Riddles with Kazuya. Riddles is good, but he only has a couple select combos he does consistently. While those combos are respectfully difficult to pull off, Riddles's Kazuya is overrated.

@@tobiasterry7194 haha I've been waiting for another FGC character for DLC and never thought I'd get another one, and I wanted the DLC to be broken...and then Kazuya got revealed and I got my wish. I really wanted to get a good start to learning him and so I spent hours practicing haha
if you're a tekken player. then playing kazuya in smash will have a similar experience to tekken game. because tekken fighters are all broken af
That's great that it translates if you play tekken then, that means they did a really good job designing kazuya. Assuming you're a tekken player, how similar does it feel getting EWGF? Is it like a million times easier for you because it 2 frames instead of 1?
