I was returning south from Scotland last Friday and the Cumberland hills looked Majestic in the beautiful midday sunshine.

Good Evening Gareth your walking my route, I’ve been out all day walking, did 15 miles. I find it really good for the old mental health and I always see something different when I’m out and about. Keep up the good work your vlogs are very entertaining 👍🏻

Walking is great - it helps me with my sobriety and clears my thinking( I’m 63 now). I live in Grimsby and manage about 5-10 miles a day on various terrain. It looks fab scenery where you are. 🥾🏃👍👍

@@lisacaptainino86 thanks Lisa. Having a rest day today, was awake couple hrs last night in pain. Just doing some creative writing journalling and some knitting. Lovely blue sky today bits of cloud. Got my home made soup to eat later I made yesterday with brown sourdough from Mr Sainsburys lol quite nice, prefere Irish brown soda bread. Xxxx

I thoroughly enjoyed this video of your walk through Dalton & the view across to Black Combe & my home town of Millom situated on the Duddon Estuary. Looks a nice area Gareth.. I liked the little railway station it looked well kept, it must be nice living so close to the Lake District and hills to walk.. maybe get yourself a dog..? that way you’ll have to walk more and keep fit…👍🏻🏴
What a beautiful place apart from the cars which don't really bother me it is so peaceful there. And the little village shops it's like being in times gone by, a lovely place to live.
