Mortal Kombat: Konquest (Conquest) Intro

Mortal Kombat: Konquest (or Conquest) was a television series based on the Mortal Kombat video game series which lasted for a season of 22 episodes in 1998/99. It originally aired in first-run syndication before being picked up by TNT.
The show was produced by the same folks as the 1995 and 1997 movies, but was set 500 years before the events of the film. While that allows for two new lead characters, it basically turns out that everyone ever featured in Mortal Kombat had an identical ancestor.
Australia enjoyed the release of the complete series on DVD, while it was released piecemeal across the rest of the world
