When I was a younger teenager, I was in a toxic and abusive home. Before I ended up in foster care, I’d be unable to sleep and lay awake in worry every night. Olivia’s videos were recommended by a counsellor I had at school, to relieve some anxiety. These videos got me through so much, be it depression, anxiety, I listened every night to help me fall asleep. After losing a lot of hope i began to draw hope from her videos, and I eventually got moved into an amazing foster home. I just want to say thank you, for being there for me with your videos, as I could truly feel your love, hope, and positive energies coming through the screen and the tingles.

You may have mentioned this before in an early video, but a really good habit is to empty your mind while trying to sleep. If your mind is too busy or you have racing thoughts, write them down on paper. You're not ignoring things you need to deal with, just setting them aside for 7 to 9 hours :-)

I would also like to make a request- I have chronic tinnitus and it can be really hard to accept it and get fully into a meditative state bc the hissing/ring can become so incredibly loud if I stay still. It can be quite disturbing and there are not many guided meditations that specifically address this disorder. It would be amazing if you made a video that helps ppl with tinnitus accept and cope with unwanted sounds. Specifically, when it can feel really loud, intense, and unpleasant. Either way, love what you do♡

I can't empty my mind. I have tried. It chatters like a monkey and I say "Shut up" to myself but I don't listen. So I got this bottle of CBD tincture of Indica. So far it helps right now. But what about the monkey brain?
Clearing your mind doesn't mean you need to actively try to not think about things. You realize you're thinking a thought and return back to your breath and/or mantras. I find thinking of a mantra in line with your breath makes clearing your mind and meditating a lot easier and fulfilling. I chose a special mantra with two syllables so that on my inhale, I create the first syllable (in my mind, not aloud) and on the exhale comes the second syllable. And just keep going. Hope this helps!
It also gets easier/quieter the more you meditate. Frequency helps.
