As a 51 year old who was lucky enough to experience the Grunge explosion of beyond great music and the long overdue mainstream acceptance of Metallica while in College - I almost feel equally blessed to now hear Post Malone sing/honor this music with his truly genuine soul and uniquely amazing vibrato…
The versatility is incredible. You got me by about 10 years so it’s hard for me to picture Metallica not being mainstream

Totally agree, some of the earlier ones are decent but the more recent ones like basket case/all apologies I think the raspiness and hard acoustic guitar are awesome. I also thought he killed wanted dead or alive I wish there were a better audio quality version I looked everywhere it is just the stupid instagram live stream.

One of the reasons I love him is his music choices seem about as hectic as mine. I’ll frequently play older songs from the 60s and 70s and then jump to something modern when I’m listening to music and I feel like he’s similar. Wasn't till lock down till I found out he can play and sing. The nirvana covers were amazing. Loving his sublime. Also, hearing his interviews on the Howard Stern Show was eye opening. Love him
