If you have a 1440p monitor Im pretty sure you would get the same if not more frames because you are still CPU bound with the 7800X3D, Even using DLSS on Quality at 1440p will make it a much better experience!

dlss gives more latency
Never use DLSS. DLSS is a graphics/Quality setting not a performance setting. People have been tricked by NVIDIA to believe it improves performance.
im on a 5120x1440p which is essentially two 1440p monitors in one (ultrawide) and I am cpu bound on a 3070ti.
1440p uses 20% or so more CPU.
just finished this build yesterday, awesome performance.

I just installed this CPU yesterday. Its amazing. I have it paired with a 5600XT which is not very evenly matched lol but it seems to be working great. Gonna upgrade to a 4060 TI soon
Please don’t get a 4060ti the 6700xt is better performance and cheaper but it’s your money and if u want nvidia that’s fine just giving u a heads up

look 4060 is good but you can get way better preformance with amd for same or even lower price

Just look at his fps the lowest he Got is 258 and normaly with fight around 400-500fps so playing in 360hz will be fine beacouse you are not gonna fell the drop to 258 when you are in the air
And if you wanna play tournaments i would recommend 240fps cap beacouse at late game i think you would get around 200-260
he aint going under 450 so you will be fine
the only thing that concerns me is the random drops to under 100fps which you can see in the actual in game counter, but other than that it looks amazing@@imnotdslolsry

Deepcool LT720 360mm
Get a water cooler if you want the lowest temps a good one lasts 4 to 8 years on average. An air cooler will be a few degrees higher but last almost forever.
I got the thermalright peerless assasin 120 se argb and it keeps my cpu between 50-60 degrees gaming. crazy. and if u correctly set fan speed it wont make a sound (this cooler is pretty aggressive).
Hey good video, but can you please tell me, what driver are you using and are you using low latency in nvidia control panel ! Cause I have stuttering on performance mode with fps drops to 30 every 3 seconds whatever I do, but on DX12 nothing and i run the game smoothly. My specs are 3080 Ryzen 7 7800X3D, I think that performance mode is broken cause it using DX11 but I don't understand why some people can run it without any drops like you. Did you disable hardware schedguling in windows settings, can you help run smoothly performance mode, cause it is really nice for competition and input delay

It’s happened to me too on i7 13th and 4070ti but I fixed it a bit I used ddu in safe mode after that install the latest driver with GeForce and when I use performance mode it’s keep stutter a lot and fps drops but after some 20+- games in solo the stuttering fixed and the game playable so dont give up
How is the input lag on 7800x3d? Did you notice any sudden frame drops or jitters? Should i buy 7800x3d or go for i7 13700k?

I currently own a 1440p 144hz monitor and these pc specs. Should I get a 1080p 360hz monitor as it's on sale? I usually play Fortnite, but sometimes i play some more graphically demanding games.

How much ping are you getting because your game looks smooth. I think fps carries the gameplay because if you have high ping and can’t do anything about it, a good pc can make up for it.
Especially in fortnite, a good internet connection is very important, a goated pc cant make up for it
@@sjoerd104 Skill issue. Even if you play on 120 ping you should still be able to hit unreal. I tried it a couple days ago, Im normally NAE but switched to EU on a brand new account and hit unreal in just 2 days. I get about 140 ping early game 120 mid game and high 90s as low as it gets endgame on EU.

You can tweak your pc. Windows setting such like power settings, disabling things and so on. Tweak nvidia settings. The list goes on

Hi, did you do anything to your pc after building it to make it run faster like any optimizations or something? Because I have a rtx 3080 and i911900k but can't get stable 240fps, also should I use 1080p or 1440p because I feel like my cpu bottlenecks at 1080p
you're pc is just "worse" fornite is a cpu game. The 7800X3D is far more better than the 11900k.
honesty you should sell your 11900k and save for like a i9 12900 or 13900k

I got 1440p 165hz monitor, mid graphics settings, results 165fps most of the time with 140fps 1%low. Fortnite has pretty good graphics, isn’t a waste set the graphics so low?

can you tell me what tweaks to do play. i keep having bad stutters and 80 fps when i go to named areas even w doing what a lot of videos have told me. my specs are a 3080 rtx gpu, an AMD ryzen 5 3600 6 core cpu, 32 gb of ram. if you could tell me what do do to make me stop having stutters and have better fps/less delay i’d be delighted.

I have the same specs but instead of the ryzen 7 I have an intel i7 12th gen. But somehow on perf. mode I "only" get about 300 fps and CPU and GPU are only utilized by like 25% percent. Can somenbody help me how to get better fps because I feel like I should be getting more and why aren't my CPU and GPU working at like 40 to 50 percent?

You are on 1440p. Not much differnece in fortnite but still noticable. And the 7800x3d is faster (in gaming) than the 13700f. I have a 4070 ti super with 13700kf and my friend has a 4070 with 7800x3d and he has more fps than me.

I don’t understand why Fortnite has such drastic frame drops
There's no one to blame but epic, they don't wanna be like everyone else who does the shading compilation before the game starts like warzone, instead they force you to do it as you play which results in what you're seeing. Anyways DX12 is way better, finishes compiling shaders way faster, only problem is its way more gpu demanding, if your gpu is poop you're going to see lower fps... Think of it this way: DX11 (which is basically the api that performance mode runs on) goes something like this: Higher highs, lower lows, DX12 goes something like this: lower highs, higher lows...
