I'm glad you liked this video.
We shot this video with then intention of educating our viewers.
You damage the shingle. Awful attempt to repair. Contractor owes for roof.

I think y’all missed the point of a repairability test. He’s test that the shingles can withstand a repair which obviously they can’t. In order to repair you have to lift 3 times
Thanks for this order of repair ability.
1. Attempt a Brittleness Test.
2. Attempt a Repair.
(3 lifts at the proper angle.)
4. Determine if collateral damage happens to the neighboring shingles.
Also, when breaking a seal, side-to-side; not up and down. This prevents damaging a shingle in your repair attempt.
Question: Matt Transfer. Do you see this often?
Thanks!
We do see mat transfer on some of our repairs and or repair attempts
So you just made a repair to a roof that's not repairable? I don't get it.
possibility give this video another listen. the details in the explanation are important.
He's showing that doing the repair of the damaged one, the adjacent shingles were damaged. One is repaired but 3 more will need to be repaired. You will end up replacing the entire roof.
"Great video"
This is an educational video ?? Lol
