- We are so happy to present you our Star Wars Fan-film called Hunting of the Fallen 360 VR . The reason why we made this film was simple. We love Star Wars universe. After many tests in virtual reality we asked SW groups REBEL LEGION and 501 GARRISON, if they could help us to make our dream come true and other SW fans. We love think that we can help together to sick children in hospitals and conjure up smiles when they are in the movie and looking face to face with Darth Vader, flighting in space or be part of jedi fighting.

To be fair, that's why fight scenes with a single character against many are _usually_ shot that way. In reality, there would be no way for Vader to win if they all attacked at once. I mean, yes, he could use the Force and send them all flying against the wall and kill them that way, but this team had a limited budget and couldn't hire ILM to do those kinds of effects. :)
I love how they attack Darth Vader like enemies on Assassins Creed. Take turns guys, by all means!

First to everybody who has criticized the acting - these are fans, not high paid international/Hollywood actors. A group of people who like Star Wars and wanted to do something noncommercial and fun. I appreciate their efforts and can see it for what it is.
Second, thanks for going through all the hard work to make this film and to record it in 360. I enjoyed the experience.
I only have a little film making and editing experience, but I know a lot of work goes into making a film, even a short one. Overall, I think you have succeeded in what you set out to do.
Finally, to all the haters, why don't you offer to help the fans who made this short film do a remake?
Great idea with good visual effects ruined by a fanfic-tier plot and acting.

Incorrect. By the time of the second death star there were no Venator-Class Ships in the Empires' Navy.
No Name it's actually the first Death Star when it's still being built they just used the second Death Star
Because there's no images of the first Death Star before it was built

This is an adaption of the Dark Times comics which take place shortly after the clone wars, so there were still many Venators.
There must be something wrong with my VR headset because it made it seem like that was the worst acting and dialog in this or any other galaxy.
I assure you your VR headset is not the one to be blamed...Those were some shitty performances indeed...

Please keep going with the tech, just find new ppl for the acting and fighting. I'm with a lightsaber dueling club, and the fight scene was kinda cringe worthy.

To have created this all on your own is amazing. The effects are great, the acting and lines are clunky but who cares ive seen the same silliness in Star Wars. This still looks like goofy fun.

Brilliantly made Vr short but dag nam it, the acting is horrible. Visually, it's a pretty spectacular use of VR.
I found a problem with this only because you used Republic cruisers instead of imperial star destroyers. other than that this was awesome

Connor Medley it's actually cannon the Galactic Empire used Republic destroyers for quite sometime after Order 66 and this is based upon Order 66 so it is Cannon take it from me Lord Vader

Well, I wanted to add imperial star destroyers in the end sequence, but due to time stretch didn't happen. It would definitely add to the feel of Empire growing in its strength. I admit republic colors shouldn't be there, we wanted to add colors to the scene but didn't realize, that repainting would be possibly the first thing to change.

The beloved Star Wars franchise has always been at the forefront of special effects development and utilization, but never have they come this close as to make the audience feel like they are one with the Force. I praise you on the final product as its dedication to its source material is unparalleled. Fantastic job.

I think sometimes people don't realize these are not professional actors, they are fans. I was extremely impressed with the effects and given how little Star Wars VR content there is, I really enjoyed it in spite of the acting. I hope you make another fan film!

Griffball Champions this is taking place during the transitional period between Revenge of The Sith and A New Hope. Vader is being taught the ways of the dark side still and the empire is freshly formed. All the clone wars ships and stuff were redone for the Empire, this is just before that. Sorry for rambling but I'm a huge nerd and even though the acting was shit this little timeline piece was neat :} ok I'm done
