The unknown trick is to tighten the end nut till it bottoms out (but don't torque yet) this will bring the bracket closer to its final position, then use a tapered spike to line up one hole, I picked the top hole to line up first with the spike in one of the lower holes, then i was able to easily thread the bolt without using a hammer. Repeat with one of the remaining holes and then use the spike to line up the final hole but before removing the spike, tighten the first two bolts to keep the bracket from moving then remove the spike and install the last bolt. Replaced both radius arm bushings on my '96 E350 yesterday without ratchet straps or hammers and it was much easier than i thought it would be.
Nice job dude, shop is raping me on this right now. Grease monkey broke the shock bolt and now I'm waiting 4 days for a new radius arm that I have to pay for
Ive watched 10 videos on this because im doing the bushings on mine and this video by far is the best ! Thanks !
What a sick performance
I have the same thing wrong with mine fixing to order the part now thanks for the video .
That was a sick fix!
That looked pretty chill and easy to be honest
I guess that’s one way to do it . Looks like you’re fighting the coil spring . That’s why you use the strap
