- QUT biofuel researchers have tested oil reclaimed from discarded tyres and found it can be mixed with diesel to produce a lower emission diesel engine oil.

So does that mean the council dumps are going to give us money for them now instead of charging us.
They need to do more to figure out that it's environment friendly or not
I’m sure they’re well aware of the byproducts/pollution the process produces. Then it purely depends on how else the tyres are disposed of, or recycled.

Hey ! Is That Oil From a Synthetic or Natural Rubber Tyre..? 🤔
As far as I’m aware only aircraft tyres are ever fully natural latex rubber. However, considering synthetic rubber is primarily produced from petroleum byproducts, I would image the answer is obvious.
100 years old tech sold as new invention, makes me laugh :)

What else are used tyres repurposed as? There are only so many things we can use ground rubber for.
