it was 2007 perhaps...I bought the cd at Maremagnum in Barcelona during a schooltrip....I was 16 but already keen on ambient/chill-out/future jazz/trip-hop/electronic/techno music....I was a dreamy adolescent...and I I really think the only one of my age at the time to listen to that kind of music in the entire school or the whole city....it a difficult time when most young folks used to listen to so shitty music such as disgusting indie/balcanic rock (Ska P and others) or normal pop music...I was alone in that....anyway, Frequent Flyer Barcelona lured me in 5 secs...I saw it on the shelf and looking at the cover I quickly thought "Oh that's mine"....well...what to say...I ate it up during the next few days while visiting the city on the bus...having it steadly in my headphones....such wonderful times...wish I could go back sometimes..amazing compilation!!!
Found this album through Pandora and really wished I knew where I could download or purchase it from. Definitely needs to be on itunes or somewhere. All the songs on this album are absolutely beautiful. :)
Preciosa!!
As for the lyrics, here is my attempt as a native speaker of European Spanish (please note that there may be some mistakes, since I am not hearing well some of the lines): Verse 1: Murallas de piedra fina soy, que cubren de rojo el viento, En lo alto, ricos palacios, fuentes y parques de ensueño, En el paso (patio?) de los leones, suspiraban por tu hija, Bebían los gorriones leyendas de amor y luna.
