OMG that's the best part of this track!! I'm obsessed with it! I love the way the video goes with it. Those girls dancing remind me of what our ancestors might have experienced while hallucinating and the 'beings' they encountered in that state. The music and the chanting in that portion is transcendent! 10 out of 10 on this one!
From 4:15 is still still on of the most impressive collection of sounds iv heard. Nice way to test speakers or headphones because there is so much going on, even youtube strips this part of the melody because of compression.
Yes I agree. It is beautifully done. I really think a lot of thought went into this. I have watched this video few times already today and it keeps pulling me into watching it again and again. Something so hauntingly beautiful about this.
Yes I know it is from Samsara and Baraka but I think the song just perfectly aligns with the video and I think that is great work. Thanks for the info!
The original track is amazing but the OTT remix explores so many extra dimensions. I listen to this often. When that baseline comes back in again it's like an old friend coming to visit, you know they are coming and the anticipation is huge, you know you are going to enjoy their company after all this time yet when they finally arrive the actual experience is even better than you could have imagined. Nice video too by the way.
I'd give 95% of the credit to Ott on this amazing track. He took an ok song and turned it into a masterpiece. Over the past past few years, Ott has slowly became my number 1 favorite artist. I can't think of anyone that is as talented as him.
This video is an absolute masterpiece. I have watched probably about 15 times in the past week, the beauty of the combination of images and music overtakes me while I watch. I've never experienced a video like this. Thank you.
This video is from a film called Samsara. It is an eye opener and has to do with the human condition. I highly recommend watching it. Shows much more and will take your breath away.
This is probablly the 25th time that I come to listen and watch it, this is a sensorial experience and a little masterpiece. I understad that you assembled the video with material from somebody else but the result is awsome; in my opinion you, TheGreatestProfile, deserve a lot of credit for this beauty. Thanks for sharing
lxcaldero, I totally agree with you on this. In general, I frown when fans upload an artist's song and claim "no copyright," but TheGreatestProfile actually ADDED something to the song. Very well done, TheGreatestProfile, very well done.
I just discovered Shpongle and this song one year ago. In the beginning I Iistened to this song so much and stil I come back here once a week. This song, what Ott did to it and the visuals are connecting me to everything. Just beautiful!
I love the way the monks stand and admire their beautiful sand painting that they've spent countless hours meticulously working on, for one last moment, before promptly sweeping it away with Love! Perfectly present, and yet harmoniously unattached 🕉️🫶🏻❤️🐢
1:50 The song is called Dönülmez Akşamın Ufkundayız (THE HORIZON OF UNRETURNABLE NIGHT), written by Yahya Kemal BEYATLI (A Macedonian Turk ). i love the mix... 👍
Yahya Kemal BEYATLI only first line is in song and says "we are at the horizon of unreturnable night. it is too late" (im not good at translation and it is difficult to translate poems) Evening of Rinds We are at the horizon of unreturnable night. It is too late My life, it is the last chapter, pass as you want! If to come back to the earth is dreamt, We don't want to be consoled with it. The endless tranquil night will start When we pass throught the black gate That opens to the sunless empty space. In this last gardens in front of the sunset, as you wish. My hearth, to be ruined with pleasure or love! Tulip should blossom over our grave or rose. Yahya Kemal BEYATLI
It really is amazing how both media's complement each other equally. I've watched both Baraka & Samsara many times and have loved the Ott remix since it came out. However, by putting the 2 together has created a synergy that neither could hope to achieve in isolation. Every time I watch this I am filled with emotion, there aren't many other clips that have that effect on me (to that extent). It will be a sad day for me if this clip ever comes down. I want to personally thank whoever put this together, it's extraordinary, it's amazing......
I'm glad that you like it so much and let's hope this sad day will never come. I also would like to say 'thanks' to you and all the other viewers for over 100 000 views. Check my other clips, you might like them as well!
Wow 4:25 is a very powerful image. Not sure of the exact context here, but what I observe is one individual in the midst of the busy and rushed society we live in today, who is on the path of spirituality and peace. The things that are truly important. He is slowly walking while concentrating and meditating as others are busy rushing around shopping for material goods. There is something to be taken from that thought.
Yeah, if you take away money and bills, family and gov't. Devotion to spiritual development. But civilizations wanted something else. If society went into complete spiritualism, humans would cease to exist due to celibacy. Or be manipulated by 'leaders' who claim the privilege to have children. If society gave up money, there'd be no motivation to work and global productivity would plummet back to tribal outputs. We'd see a decrease in the human population I think. And a site and video like this will likely be in limbo...as a paradigm shift in the species shifts towards this spiritual way of existence. In other words, it makes sense to be somewhere in between the monk and the commoner. Ya dig?
@@coping09 very true! And I think the goal would be to find some sort of balance between being a productive society, and also making sure we are taking care of ourselves and each other mentally as well as financially. Spiritually too, although not necessarily in the religious aspect. The more technology and capitalism paves the way for a better life as well as cheaper goods and services, it also creates a busier lifestyle as society tries to be more and more productive in a days time. And in that same sense deprives people of taking time to focus on the things that are important that now there is no time for. Thats why overall people are becoming more and more depressed. Just like the scene in this video, there are two stark contrasts and the ideal scenario would be a balance between the two.
Samsara... I'm listening to this song, remembering the love of my life who recently left me... He introduced me to this brand new world, and I can never thank him enough for this. We lived many and many wonderful things together... It's hard to be reminded of these by this beautiful song. He told me songs cant trap the memories and emotions we had, and that I had to change the meaning of him and me behind. My love for him lives on, but farther than that, my love for psybiant and psytrance will live forever now. For I found the kingdom where my spirit can feel at peace.
I simply cannot get enough of this video, Shpongle and Ott and these visuals together make an absolutely magical experience! Thank you for making this!
Definitely love this song. Its been over 15 years since I played it, and I remember, and can hum/whistle to it, and be on tune. The map the mind stores.. just.. wow.
The clip and the song, they are like a dream, rolling me into a state of deep conciousness with ease. Every time I see this images and listen the magnegnetic pulse of the music its such a delight of joy. Its not fresh, listened to it many times and shared it with friends. Yet the magic is still there any time like the sounds of ocean waves. Like some classical music this resonates deeply into the soul and mind.

Thank you for whoever put this music to such a great video 🙏 wish artists like Shpongle did more video, such as Carbon abased Lifeforms, Asura and even Solar fields none of these artists ever have videos but have a huge following. Eclectic underground non mainstream music needs to start putting videos to their songs. Doesn’t anyone else’s agree ?

I'd give 95% of the credit to Ott on this amazing track. He took an ok song and turned it into a masterpiece. Over the past past few years, Ott has slowly became my number 1 favorite artist. I can't think of anyone that is as talented as him.
personally, I think he took a masterpiece track and turned it into even more of a masterpiece
He's playing in a tiny venue in Atlanta on March and I'm so stoked I got tix before they sold out
@@KennyCriswell godspeed and see you in the DMT hombre.
it never ceases to amaze me how beautifully crafted this video is and how it manages to capture so much from the music and expand on it
THE IMPERMANENCE OF ALL THINGS. This is truly sublime.
The images and music mix so well! Lovely.
Greetings from Nepal!
i am 99% empty space and i feel this enormous bliss and joy... existence is awesome
make every breath count, everything has a function
Still the most mind blowing video/tune I have ever encountered
Najpiękniejszy przepływ wspaniałych dźwięków i klip jaki widziałem.. super
@@erika1086 , Baraka and Samsara (Shri-Lanka girls dancing at the end).
Masterpiece? It doesnt bother you its completly distorted? Its in total wrong aspect ratio thanks to the uploader...
Concordo plenamente!
DO YOU DO DRUGS?
The first 2:40 is AMAZING! I really wish it was longer! I feel like I'm on another planet when I hear it!
This is probablly the 25th time that I come to listen and watch it, this is a sensorial experience and a little masterpiece.
I understad that you assembled the video with material from somebody else but the result is awsome; in my opinion you, TheGreatestProfile, deserve a lot of credit for this beauty.
Thanks for sharing
i tripped to this and it was lifechanging
the video is assembled from the scenes from the movie Baraka; and it's a great film. www.imdb.com/title/tt0103767/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
Bubzipsilon ..and Samsara.
lxcaldero, I totally agree with you on this. In general, I frown when fans upload an artist's song and claim "no copyright," but TheGreatestProfile actually ADDED something to the song. Very well done, TheGreatestProfile, very well done.
lxcaldero I *LIKE* it!! 8)
Not even a million views for this video but all those pop videos get 50 million views. The world is missing out on the good stuff.
metaphysicalbeinginmatrix you add a view to their video when you are forced to watch them
I am really into the psychedelic movement but i am also a music graduate...I dont find this music good.
Damm right
check the original by Shpongle then!
The world has always missed out on Good Stuff
This is the greatest video on Earth. Am I supposed to feel like I'm in every personal journey with them?
1:50 The song is called Dönülmez Akşamın Ufkundayız (THE HORIZON OF UNRETURNABLE NIGHT), written by Yahya Kemal BEYATLI (A Macedonian Turk ). i love the mix... 👍
+Coşkun “Djoshkun” Diko Thank you for that piece of information. I appreciate what you did.
Coşkun Diko Thank you.
thanks
Greetings from Macedonia.
Rindlerin Akşamı
Dönülmez akşamın ufkundayız. Vakit çok geç;
Bu son fasıldır ey ömrüm, nasıl geçersen geç!
Cihana bir daha gelmek hayal edilse bile,
Avunmak istemeyiz öyle bir teselliyle.
Geniş kanatları boşlukta simsiyah açılan
Ve arkasında güneş doğmıyan büyük kapıdan
Geçince başlıyacak bitmeyen sükunlu gece.
guruba karşı bu son bahçelerde, keyfince.
Ya şevk içinde harab ol, ya aşk içinde gönül!
Ya lale açmalıdır göğsümüzde yahud gül.
Yahya Kemal BEYATLI
only first line is in song and says "we are at the horizon of unreturnable night. it is too late" (im not good at translation and it is difficult to translate poems)
Evening of Rinds
We are at the horizon of unreturnable night. It is too late
My life, it is the last chapter, pass as you want!
If to come back to the earth is dreamt,
We don't want to be consoled with it.
The endless tranquil night will start
When we pass throught the black gate
That opens to the sunless empty space.
In this last gardens in front of the sunset, as you wish.
My hearth, to be ruined with pleasure or love!
Tulip should blossom over our grave or rose.
Yahya Kemal BEYATLI
One of the best fan videos ever made. This remix by Ott is such a classic.
This never gets old. Great music with some great visuals.
that little girl's glance caught me in Trance. great work by the way.. peace mate
Great job using footage from barraca
Великолепная музыка и видеоряд!! Когда был релиз а это около 10 лет назад,точно не помню.сразу купил и слушаю до сих пор,в плеере!
It was released 21 years ago

Can anyone tell me where the Buddhist(?) dancing girls clip @3:27 comes from?
So many amazing cultures and people on this planet. Beautiful...thank you!
Of all the music I’ve heard in my entire life, this has to be my absolute favorite.
this is so healing so fabulous to ride inside of...beautiful souls on you people...!
Wow
4:25 is a very powerful image.
Watched his for the first time the other night, made me cry.... so beautiful...
The map the mind stores.. just.. wow.
I have been listening to this for the last 8 months everyday.
Thank you for making my life richer in a good way
The clip and the song, they are like a dream, rolling me into a state of deep conciousness with ease. Every time I see this images and listen the magnegnetic pulse of the music its such a delight of joy. Its not fresh, listened to it many times and shared it with friends. Yet the magic is still there any time like the sounds of ocean waves. Like some classical music this resonates deeply into the soul and mind.
This is the video we should send out into space to represent our planet
Well, now I have to watch it again with this thought in mind :|
We are starseeds.. We know. They know 👻
nickwill50: never thought of it that way, but hell yes. R species has more talent than just making constant war 4 profit & using us as canonfodder. There’s so much more out there just saying David E.
3:26 freaked me the fuck out
extraterrestrials would be deeply disappointed if they think this video is reality and then visit us
ii think all educated men would agree (to crib "Amadeus") this is THE best music video on the web. song brilliance, shpongle at their best, with Ott perfection. of course, Samsara and Baraka absolutely take this over the top. also, i need to repeat the diet of those celebrating tribesmen -- not an ounce of fat anywhere. great editing "the greatest profile." thanks!!! the mechanic.
love ott, love shpongle, love fricke's films - i'm in heaven when i watch this - thank you so much . blessings
This Apsara dance is what motivated me to visit Cambodia some time ago. Reliving it now, I really thank you for this experience, both musical and in real life.
This dance was shot in Bali, not in Cambodia
Masterpiece! Can't get enough of it.
How extremely well this video composition pairs with this audi journey. This is really something else in so many ways!
Wow!!! I bow to your genius in your making this stunning video. It takes me on different journeys everytime I watch it.
Peace & love to all
The calmness, love & peace this brings to me
Come here every month since 2016 to listen and watch beautiful masterpiece. Thanks to author. My advice to all lovers is to download this video until youtube delete it for some absurd reason
SHPONGLE AND OTT...Two of thee BEST
Like a shinning mind spinning out around world...This song brings me a indescribable sensation....
This is one of those sacred visual and audio masterpiece combinations that you take a sip from on special occasions.
this was food for my soul !!!
ok, so i just took a low dose of DMT and listened and watched this video and can honestly say it was one of the most beautiful things I ever heard and saw. I was so moved I cried. Thank you Shpongle and thank you @TheGreatestProfile for the download. I love you all.
This is one of songs to blast off with. I feel the sounds help a breakthrough happen.
I consider this as the official music video, great work!
Those clips are taken from Samsara documentary. I strongly suggest to watch it. Its entierly filmed on 70mm film. No fancy digital art.
yea, I think the Shpongle guys would be more than pleased with this video!
Stunning video, it is like it could have been the official video, got to post this on Facebook. Love Shpongle and had never even herd this mix before and like it a lot.
Thank you for this too Peter
Absolutely love the first 2.5 minutes. I listen to that part repeatedly ❤
It must be the best video on RUclips forever!!!!
thank YOU for sharing this.. infinite being... feeling humbled and grateful beyond understanding
This is my favorite thing on the Internet.
Thank you for posting. Thank you shpongle. Thank you ott. Thank you life.
Здесь все красиво и гармонично музыка и видеоряд, обожаю такие видео ❤❤❤
What happens at around 4:20 is the start of one of the most stunning and "trippiest" minutes of music I've ever heard. I'm just in Awe, mesmerized and goddamn, lost for words.
