When people think of Riot, they think of Misery Business, crushcrushcrush and That’s What You Get, but honestly, this is really one of the best songs on it.

Is it weird I’m going through a Paramore phase at 23? Obviously I always knew about them, my best friend was obsessed with them in the 7th grade and I liked their singles but just didn’t care that much lol. I finally deep dived into every album and realized how consistently good everything is.... better late than never, and at least the lyrics are way more relevant to adult me than they would have been to teenage me. But damn..... I wish I had that nostalgia former emo/scene kids get when they listen to old paramore 😔

This is their most underrated song in my opinion. It's also pretty unique too. A lot of emo and pop punk songs deal with negative subject matter like breakups, loneliness, depression, or anxiety. Paramore are no strangers to this. However, "Miracle" is all about not being afraid to take chances to make yourself happy and live the best life you can live. It's a song about freedom and personal liberation from the anxieties that hold you back. And it still has that angsty rocking groove that makes it sound so grand, motivational, and even spiritual. I love this song so much.
Yeah right, dude. I wish more people would listen to this. But when you ask them about Paramore, they'll mostly remember "The Only Exception".
Not that I condemn those people who only remembers The Only Exception. I think that's a given since, correct me if I am wrong, that's one of their first songs so people are likely to remember it.

this band and all of their songs are underrated, I wish mode people would start listening to it in public so it can become popular once again, because no other band can top paramore

You know Haley, from the bottom of my heart I hate how people have made you feel in life. I may sound like I need the grippy socks but you really had a positive influence on me in a dark world going through my teenage years. It absolutely lights me up when I sing and people say they hear you in my voice. I will always have love in my heart for someone who gave love to a stranger. ❤ Thank you for allowing me to grow with you. Love youuu.

@@andrewattempts7941 they have their reasons for stopping, Hayley explains it an interview that this song doesn't reflect who she is anymore, she was young and this was about "girl on girl" hatred. She instead uses her time to empower women and talk with many strong voices. Given what she experienced in her 10 year relationship with Chad Gilbert, this song is a product of a time she felt confused in. With dark times in the band before they had broken up, as well as acknowledging her own mistakes from hurting others when she thought she was in good relationship. Misery Business is the opposite of who she is and her bandmates agree. They're happy with their sound but still do miss the moments when they'd just play music from before, she says it's still very much a part of them. They're going to grow and change, and yes why not embrace it. I recommend looking further into subjects you're confused about. Google is there, and that's how I found out.
I just wanna mention how this song helped me despell thoughts of suicide as a teenager and kept me going when life seemed really bad or pointless

This is really weird for me because I used to listen to this when I was ten and I hadn't since then and I'm twenty now and I barely understood any English back then and now I understand everything and it's not like it says anything disturbing but it feels extremely surreal...

Miracle should return to the live sets Paramore's shows such a sad song and underrated. Also the Miracle outro sounds so good and also on the bridge part when Josh is headbanging to the beat it is so bouncy

Always loved this song, when I was a sewersidal teenager I clung to it, and even played it at my group therapy graduation. Listening to it now 14 years later it still fills me with hope.
Been a fan of Paramore throughout my entire teenagehood. To this day, I tell people they're one of the greatest bands to ever exist, even with all the emo stereotyping there is around the band - tbh, never understood the hate towards emo bands either. But I'm here to talk about this song, which has always been a great song to me, but until today, that was only because of its excellent melody, like pretty much all of Paramore's songs. But, in the middle of so many unexplainably painful circumstances, I find myself for the very first time getting to know these lyrics. It feels like they speak directly to me, and about everything's been going on lately in my life... I know we all can relate, but this has just hit differently in a way I can only be forever thankful to this song and this band.
