I went into Guardians Vol. 3 knowing it couldn’t surpass my expectations - they were just too high. I love the first movie so much and I know nothing could get close.
Except it did. This film is phenomenal. It is one giant apology letter for the last 3 years of Marvel products. It is truly and utterly exceptional. James Gunn is exceptional. I could not have dreamed of such a perfect finale to my favourite franchise of all time. The most perfect ending to each and every one of my favourite characters.
This movie deserves all the love. Go watch it on the biggest screen you can find (I watched it for the second time tonight, in IMAX and 3D - can confirm the bigger the screen, the better). This is easily the greatest Marvel trilogy ever made, arguably the best superhero trilogy and in my opinion one of the best trilogies of all time. I love these idiots so much.
P.S. this is what The Hidden World desperately wishes it was LOLL

The fact that Drax said in Vol.2 that “There are two types of beings In the Universe - those who dance and those who do not” and despised Quill for liking to dance - dances himself in the ending of Vol.3 - makes it so heartwarming. ❤

I walked into the cinema knowing I would walk out with it being my new favourite movie and I was right.
So phenomenal and perfect in every way. I too have watched it twice already and am likely going to see it for a 3rd. I watched it on opening night in IMAX and it was so incredible and moving. I just want to experience that movie and those feelings over and over again.

i was so worried it would go down the same path as the other MCU movies, but I’m so, SO grateful it didn’t. This film is such a perfect finale its ridiculous. I’m so glad you enjoyed it too!

Im ngl i had high and low expects from this movie and in the end, it turned out to be for me the best mcu movie of all time.
