Ahhh, listening to this makes me remember my time in choir in high school... since my teacher never specifically separated the sopranos between 1st and 2nd, I sought the longest thinking I was a 1st soprano and stained my voice with this song. Still my favorite, along with emerald stream.
We are singing this in our choir and I'm a tenor and just listening to this compared to my choir was such a huge difference! Listening to this omg it was incredible! It's so well blended and connected just perfect

Originally a very famous Israeli-Hebrew song from 1957 (Melody by Yosef Hadar). Beautiful. The translation (Lyric by Moshe Dor): Evening of roses Let's go out to the grove Myrrh, spices, and incense Are a carpet to walk on. The night comes slowly A breeze of roses blows Let me whisper a song to you quietly A song of love. At dawn, a dove is cooing Your hair is filled with dew Your lips to the morning are like a rose I'll pick it for myself.
