Thanks for the Video! Just got mine and was a little scared at first that i might break my quest 3 while trying to get the old headstrap off xD But everything worked out and now i thankfully can use the Quest and not get a headache after 10 minutes because of the Strap that comes with it
FYI: Bobovr installed all the velcro straps the wrong way round. You have to take the velcro off and turn it around. It'll give you pain the way the strap is on opening

The left arm on my doesn't sit flush at all. Just slides back and forth which is super annoying
Mine just arrived today and it was horribly uncomfortable, I tried to adjust it in any way to make it comfortable and it just didn't work, sending mine back soon as I can
Thanks for this good video, you mention there is a gap at the bottom that shows light. Any way to make that gap smaller? Otherwise I love this new headset.
Yours came with the back head piece already installed. Mine was loose and it’s a pain installing it

I'm only buying it for the headstrap, not the battery. But I hope they release a new better B3 battery and make it compatible with this headstrap.
To get that strap through easily, (the one in front) I just un-Velcro the front and completely remove the strap, then go from bottom up, Velcro the loop, then put the strap back and Velcro it back into place.
I guess the honey comb straps are an alternative to the padding in the rear. 🤷🏻♂️

they go on the back, once you have the rear piece in place the pads are velcoed on simply remove and replace with honycomb pads
Got mine a week ago with just 1 battery ran vtolvr for 4 hours that’s both headset and battery life. then had to charge both but it drained the bobo battery first and then the q3 battery. I think it’s worth it I just ordered an extra battery cause I would charge the battery And play an extra hour and a half to 2 on the quest battery itself lol
Such a disappointment looking at the output of the battery. Only 5v means that this isn’t nearly powerful enough to keep the q3 charged while playing. It will drain pretty quickly too. They needed to put a usb power delivery with 9v or 12v with a total wattage of at least 18 watts to be able to maintain charge while playing. They also needed to bump the mah to about 8000mah to give you an additional 2 hours of extra playtime on the power bank itself. That makes it a no go for now.
To be fair I only play for an hour at a time anyway so I mostly just wanted the headstrap anyway

why does everyone’s strap come with the back padding thing pre installed? i’ve been losing my mind for the last hour trying to figure out how to put it on.

@@undeadspartan3542 after i left this comment i managed to get it in. you just need to use a lot of force but make sure to never lift your finger it hands while pushing it in.
The nubs you're trying to insert are kind of rubbery and slightly flexible. I ended up focusing on one side at a time, and kinda inserting each tab at a bit of a 45 deg angle. Initially I was thrown off though and tried and failed to insert both tabs at the same time.
Good video, very useful.
I recommend using tweezers to pull the strap through, not a knife.

You don't need to take off the face interface thing (and that's why you're seeing so much light); both the product's pics on the website and other youtubers reviewing this do not have the face interface removed.

in the video you show you taking it off; granted later you have it back on but not everyone will stay long enough to see that and will assume that you need to take it off

You might be right but pretty sure the official Bobo video shows that they have it off! But weirdly the box instructions show it on!
I product video shows it with both options. And even with the interface plate on there is still a gap around the nose area. Quest 2 had that part blocked with a rubber piece, but Quest 3 doesn’t.

Yes, mine did too. I think he may have already attached the back part before he started filming.
