- At the end of a full regular season and playoffs, the Leafs lead the Devils 3-0 in the best-of-seven cup finals in this classic SEGA Genesis hockey action.
This season included trades, though only accepted trades were completed (no overruling anything!). No players were created. Rules, fighting, injuries, and off-sides are ON. Goalies on AUTO. Line changes are AUTO. Period length is 10 minutes. Skill level set on All-star.

I guess it's a contrast issue. Hard to make white jerseys look good on white ice on the 16-bit...
Jersey dominated game. Wings were loaded after acquiring Larionov and Shanny. Only in a computer game would Toronto win a playoff series.

Ran the Sega into my AV receiver via the RCA wire connection. Used one of the AV receiver's HDMI outputs to feed into a recorder box.

As a Leafs fan, I love this. Wendel Clark scoring the game winning goal with under four minutes left to win the Stanley Cup is what would have happened in a perfect world.
Knocking Stevens into the penalty box in the 2nd period and knocking him out of the game in the 3rd period was almost as glorious as scoring the game winning goal.
@@fantasticvoyage262 Wendel threw a big hit there after that glorious goal. The roughing penalty could have given the Devils the tying goal, but killing off that 5 on 3 with him and Gartner in the box, with under two minutes to play to win the Cup, was just fantastic.
@@stoneroses1989 I used to play this game a lot. This game brings back a lot of memories.
@@fantasticvoyage262 It's the same here man. I played it at one of my best friends house in 1999-2000, we always used to play as one of the recently defunct teams, and go all the way to win the Cup. We would usually play as Quebec(they had the best roster), but sometimes Hartford and Winnipeg. I'm certain we won the Cup with the Leafs back in the day too lol.
Graphics are better on sega, but the snes sounded better.
