    That's a nice looking rod there! So few still have a foregrip! Thanks for continuing to include baitcasting information, there's so few of us. Request for future content? How about how you transport rods and more on the Z-Man Herculez.

    That is a killer rig! Maybe on an 8’ for running up and down the beach? I have a Teremar inshore 8’ spinning. More of a budget rod and wish I could get it in casting! Great stuff as always, Capt!

    Outstanding. Love all my Baitcasting gear. Throwing big lures on Spinning gear beats the hell out of my Line Holding Finger as the rod loads up on the cast. But, Spinning gear is great for casting long distances. Darn Tradeoffs!
    Be well & Thank You.

    Why the 7.6 gear ratio, instead of the 5.8 on the tranx? Thanks!

    What do you recommend for surf spinning rods for tarpon? Last year I had an 8’ heavy action and got one to the beach out of 23 jumps. I’m chunking cut bait by the way

    I just wish the tranx had more drag

      a little higher on the price but the Lexa TW's seem to pack it all now.

      I use my thumb a little when necessary just to add a little extra control the beauty of a baitcaster

      Reason why I went with lexa 300 and 400. I have 22 and 26lbs of drag

      @@Fj4LiFe23 which is better diawa lexa 400 tw , prorex 400 tw or lexa 400 hd

      @Fj4LiFe23 7 месяцев назад

      @@216edwin both of the "tw" models have a line guide that tucks down when casting which allows the line to come off the reel more freely as compared to the "hd" model. I dont have Direct experience with the prorex tho.
