I must tell what happened this very day. We are camping at a very high mountain in Montana. The first flight of my Spark drone, over the mountain was good. Unfortunately the second trip was so disheartening as I watched the drone land about 300 ft over the steepest embankment in the high weeds and downed brush. It is the steepest I have ever climbed even as a kid. As I decended over the bank, I slipped and began rapidly rolling over the bank. I caught myself and started again. Once again because of the extremely steep bank I slipped again rolling down the slope. I finally made it to where I thought the drone had gone down. Looked around for about 30min but no drone. Climbed the mountain and watched your channel on how to locate the drone. Once again over the hill I go. After about 20min more, I was so excited to hold little Sparky in my hands again. One thing which made this even more challenging, I am almost 76 yrs old and have had a heart attack a few years ago. Even at a young age this would have been a great challenge. I wanted to take time and thank you for taking time to post this video. I am so grateful for the information.
I lost mine it hit a tree and there I go, I never found it. I'm just a kid who just got there drone, I really looked forward to finding. Instead I didn't:( I'm here crying because I used all of my money on it.
You should be able to get the last GPS position of the drone in the app. However, if the app disconnected while flying the GPS position will be the location of the disconnection. Check the end of the video about how to create this map. Of course, you cannot make the drone beep. Best of luck in your hunt.
today I lost my drone while me and my family wre at a dog park my drone had a camera w Obama seal team six it because the last time I saw its camera it was at a gas station so we found it and im happy
The only possibility would be if you had set to automatically upload flight data to DJI. But the pilot will no longer be there after you get the information. Sadly I think your drone is gone.
Had a similar thing happen. It was a very windy day and I was flying over a bunch of combines doing a charity harvest. Some combines have GPS transmitters to get grain carts to follow them. This killed my GPS lock and in seconds it was gone with the wind. I was getting into a truck to look for it when it returned and landed where it took off.

I am happy to hear this video was helpful. Nice to know people are still enjoying the Spark. Mine rarely gets out as I have a lot of newer drones.

Check the microSD card possibly in the drone. I have a text file with contact info saved to my microSD card.

In the Fly App opening screen press the profile icon, then press find my drone.
