Soy Argentino, flautista y admiro a Piazzolla... esta es la mejor versiòn de Cafè 1930 que e escuchado. Los felicito. La interpretaciòn de ambos instrumentos es impecable!!
Touring through versions here on RUclips. This is exceptional. It is easy to overdo intensity in attempt to show passion, both players here have variety.
A superb interpretation. Technically perfect and played with style and grace. Bravo! I hope you play and will post the other three pieces of the suite.
pasan los años y no me canso de ver este video, siempre es un gusto escuchar esta impecable interpretación. Ojalá existiera el video de los tres movimientos restantes de la suite.
Bravo bravissimo !! greetings from Argentina , beautifully interpretations ,congratulations because Piazzolla was and excepcional composer and he always demanded of his musicians great technic on his instruments and the rhythm and tempo are very complex , I hope see you sometime here in Argentina ,well done

(This response is for JJ Boogaloo who replied with "Let's hear a version of yours, please" which may have been deleted because I don't see it any more) She's (or you, if you're the flutist) breaking up the phrasing with breaths every few notes. Her playing is absolutely gorgeous, I just don't get why she wants to breathe so much and interrupt the melodic flow of the phrasing. And, I GUARANTEE you if she played this in a masterclass with any of the great flutists in our profession she would get the same comment. And it be one of very few critiques they'd have because except for that one thing, this is marvellous. And, to Boogaloo whatever: I have studied this piece, and have studied and professionally performed flute music for 20 years, working with and playing for some of the top flutists in the world. Let's each stick to what we know, k?
Hmmm...had a listen to Orfei-Fabbri. Bit terribly moved by the flute sound, fairly ordinary and he moves around almost as badly as this lady here. Foolish, affects sound and phrase line - yucky. This lady's command of the flute is just fine but the tapering of all the long notes takes away from any soloist sound that would be required for chamber music. Tapers are for orchestral blending, NOT soloists. The interpretation is not to my liking but at least there IS one!
She makes the tuplets sound so effortless. Beautiful.

I really like your video of "Night Club 1960"!
Det var länge sedan nu, hörru...
Martin
How was it bad in anyway?
Awesome! I've seen this for cello and flute as well, do any of you know where to find that sheet music?

Okay, but you interrupt the line of the music by taking too many breaths. Not sure why you think you need to breathe so often.
