Thanks, Vanessa! Easy to understand, and your results prove your methods. (And... There's always some screwing around and fun in your videos, which I like!)
Brian Irwin yes! That would be useful. But stick to the exact same method... pose both brides in a feminine pose and then get them together (unless one wants to take on a more masculine look) and same with the grooms. I think a lot of people can pose one or the other well and then get all wonky when they put them together so that’s what I was attempting to take a look at :)
I’m no expert, but the only “basic” tip that I would add is to have the bride 👰 raise her arms slightly away from her body, this helps them look more slender. Look at her arms at 4:20 or at 4:25 or 4:30 . One special note, you don’t need to worry about this tip if the bride is an orc, they always get married in their full battle armor, rendering this bit of advise null & void. There, that is my contribution to society for the next 12 months... thanks for the video! :)
Drew Robertson HAHAHAHAHA fantastic on the orc note. And yes - I love that tip! Having her elbows slightly behind and further away from the camera will slim them.
He has a dark complexion, and to me, he seems to disappear into darkness, you need to put a reflector to light him up a little more. You have to remember that the groom is much of importance as the bride, just because we are dudes that doesn't mean that we are not going to give the groom importance in the pictures.
aral2dmax a reflector on his face wouldn’t have been my first choice here because that’s not going to separate him as nicely from the background and prevent him from disappearing into it as you say. A rim light would be great, actually on both of them because her hair hair blends right into the background as well. But this is a posing vid vs a lighting one so not gonna delve into that here :)
I love your intro your so fun lol

Heya Vanessa, would love to see how this compares for two brides or two grooms.

Where do you place your focus point when photographing a couple?
