New habits for Galleria dell’Accademia di Firenze’s staff

Unlocking Style: Galleria dell’Accademia's New Staff Uniforms.
Master in Collection Design student Chuang Yu Hsuan, known as Giovanna, was announced as the winner for the design of the museum’s new uniforms.
The students researched the Galleria dell’Accademia by conducting a site visit and privately studying, before designing their collections and presenting them to the jury consisting of Director Massimiliano Giornetti, Galleria dell'Accademia di Firenze Director Cecilie Hollberg, Pitti Immagine CEO Raffaello Napoleone and Head of Editorial Content at Vogue Italia, Francesca Ragazzi. After a feedback session, the projects were modified accordingly, and the winner was selected.
“Meeting the project requirements meant creating fashionable and unique designs within budget constraints, prioritizing wearer comfort and functionality", shares Master in Collection Design student Giovanna. "It was definitely a challenge to balance creativity with practicality while making sure to fulfill the vision within financial limits.”
