When I make scrambled eggs I almost always make extra. Then I mix it with mayo for egg mayo sandwiches for lunch. 😋
I always do scrambled egg when I make egg salad, but I usually like it on sandwiches so I want some kind of bite to it beyond just hard boiled
I only eat raw egg salad. So creamy!

One of my favorite things about these Anything with Alvin episodes is watching the giant, delicious thing be portioned up for everyone to take a bit home. There's something so wonderfully cozy about it.

I like the fact that you get to see that it doesn't just end up in a dumpster. A lot of food media folks just dump their stuff in the trash after filming.
He always seems to make a comment about sharing the leftovers and I genuinely love that ❤

Finally something to do with my extra eggs now that spring is back and my hens are on overdrive. Ovumdrive.
My absolute favorite part of these videos is watching all the food get taken by everyone at the end. It just seems like such a familial/communal thing, lots of love goes into making these dishes and not an ounce of that love is wasted!

I always love how Alvin showcases everyone who helped out gets to take some food home
that is a main course omelette. Like served on a grand serving plate with various sides, and you just cut off slices and serve, like it was roast beef or a roast turkey or something.
I'm convince this show is just a way for Alvin to meal prep the rest of the crew
I can only imagine what Babish thinks when Alvin does a recipe like this were he uses enough eggs to overthrow a small government

I know it's been years but when I saw this, I automatically mentally shouted "Binging with Babish!" Old things never die in my head... But just to clarify, I have enjoyed the things that the BCU has brought to the show, including Alvin here and his Asian/anime dishes.

My friends and i have had a running debate for months now about whether any of us were capable of eating 30 eggs in one waking day (~16ish hours)

One day I'd love to see Alvin poach a full grown Sunfish. I think he's probably the only chef who could manage that Herculean task. He will however need someone to fabricate the massive wok or pan that would be needed and like a team of body builders or a talented forklift operator.

I think the thing to do with the divot was to put a tin foil blocker there beforehand. you could also theoretically try one that's to the level of the rest of the flattop, and let the eggs spill over, but that might be asking for trouble, as if it tears, I don't think many people like the taste of aluminum...

Why not use a sheet pan without the drain channel? You could put the pan on top of a griddle to make the heat uniform (maybe).

Don't like seafood, nor do I like cold eggs. So I'd make this without the imitation crab, add bacon and sausage, and I'd serve it hot.
