Thanks for covering this game! It was by far the most exhausting AWBW match I've had, with all the charge counting and unit positioning needed in this matchup. Definitely should have built missiles
Indeed! Missiles in HF seem to be needed more as that zoning you did was masterful already.. but with 3 or so Missiles behind 4 to 5 lines of meat would just be lights out.
Awesome game! Sensei of course busted af, but this was easily losable when Eagle has 50+ units on HF. His restraint to get and retain map and econ control (Deej "you always, ALWAYS, need 3 or 4 property lead with Eagle.. and if he gets above 35 Units [on Std].. quit. You've lost) it was still impressive as JTQWN could've won if Shiyou was aggressive at the wrong place ONCE after everything proliferated. I think Missles are also really viable in HF as this zoning and playing to time/prop-count would've really synergized with better AA options that aren't.. well AA or Fighters. A few Missles put with slightly interlocking fields of fire would've been lights out much earlier I reckon.
As devastating as an Eagle super can be as youve mentioned, and while I'm just a bigtime AWBW viewer and played the games as a kid.. as a broader fan of TBS games--Sensei in particular can snowball so hard and by overcharging with probing attacks, taking unit count and value down here and there, while also lowering his.. Shiyou is forcing a dilemma to either keep eating lost charge while he throws chaff units away to get join-rebates and continue to tech up and make a GG push from LS less and less likely the longer he's allowed to keep probing.. Good commentary so far I'm at 38:54
I'm not a huge fan of stalling in my own games. When I see two giant armies on both sides, I think to myself--what do I even do with all of this army? So I applaud the players that can manage it. :)
Great game and great commentary by you Humita 🙂 Regarding doing quick math on the spot when it comes to how many properties the players needed to win, you can try out my way to do it. First do the difference between the players (Most of the game it was 12k or 12 for short). Then you know that each property will give you 2k (2 for short). If this property belong to the opponent, that means they will lose 2k and the difference will be 4k (4 for short). Then you just add 4 three times to get 12. That way you know that it will need 3 properties to get a draw and 4 to win. I find this way is much faster than trying to add value on your current income, then take away income from the opponent and then take the new numbers against each other.
i saw gimm guy in the thumbnail, thethe title, i was gonna commente, [ here's an idea for a title : '' GRIMM GUY IS SWEATING !!! ] but before i did so, i checked who were the people playing, and it wasn't even THE grimm guy, and even worst ! ... there wasn't even a grimm guy COs being played sadge.
maybe start with the gamemode, map name.. the players even? Cant be that hard to title beyond "clickbait" titles that won't help actual AWBW fans find this or recommended it as much; great game and cast regardless, thrilling!
I feel like every time I see a replay analysis of JTQWN, three things happen: 1. He goes for a very unorthodox and questionable opening 2. He executes a galaxy-brained twist strategy that makes me root for him 3. He loses 🥲
I didn't realize the Grimm emote made you think the match had Grimm, he has now been removed.... but he will return soon 👀
Grimm will return in Avengers: Grimmfinity War.

i see Grimm in the thumbnail
i dont see Grimm in the match
🥲
This match really shows the importance of positioning. Even if you have 400k army value it doesn't matter if you're not in range to capitalize
This match was insane. Thank you for the commentary
Sensei in AW Dual Strike: I'm old...
Sensei in AWBW: Get out there--apply pressure!
One of the most wild matches I have ever seen.
I also covered this game, was a wild one.

Loved this video, the HF Sensei vs Eagle matchup is so interesting
I want to sit back forever even in day limit games *^*
Great game and great commentary by you Humita 🙂

Haha i really should stop trying to do math on the spot, thanks!
@@humita.channel You welcome and you will only get better doing math the more you do it :-)
I dont know how to do stall matches. 95% of my matches are very aggro
That one really came down to the wire, wow.

sadge.
Don't understand for the life of me why JT didnt get the cap on the top left on day 11. Too passive
Sensei is so OP even in high funds. I still cant understand why he went down a tier
Dat tumbnail.
jqtown gives up a bunch of towns early. failed to get them back 35 days later. great plan there jqtown.
