Yes, I'm still pouting about that crinoid calyx. Someday I'll find one. You left your sifter in my garage, so you'll have to come back and get it next time you're in Michigan. I'm still willing to go out hunting with you again even though you showed me up this time.

That was..Wild 🤣 Kyle . It nice to see you and Mr Michigan back on the hunt for nature's bounty . You did miss a big stem .....infact it's riiigghhtt theerre . O M G that wasn't just a sad face , but infact , a sad face of jealousy (fun). I have to admit that I would also be very jealous if everyone else got one , and none for me after years and years and years of searching , 🥺🤣. Great content Kyle , and it was fun watching you use your Florida style sifting technology . See you soon my friend . Cheers

The excitement of going on an adventure. The wonderment of what each step brings. The thrill of finding treasure. The awe of seeing pieces of life 360 million years ago.
To be able to do any one of those things in a single is a good day. To do all 4 of those things in a single day is a gift.
Thank you for sharing your and Rob's awesome day with all of us.

Wow kyle! those were some really awesome finds! I remember your first trip out to find fossils and you guys found that huge bolder death plate that was big enough for both of you to stand on at the same time. Those small death plates are way more manageable! But you killed it! You must have found like 4-5 different species of brachiopod, and just tons of crinoid stems in every size and even two tops! It was a very awesome day fossil hunting with Rob! Thanks for taking us along and sharing your finds!

More likely calcite crystals growing on great blue limestone brachiopod like that, both have calcium and potential temps for the quartz might destroy the fossil.
