Chonky chips are elite units in HV and HR. They are the faction heroes you control or the scions, titans and primuses you fight against. You aren’t allowed to assign tactics chips to/against them so I believe the design was intended to help a player identify them more easily
Ural is a mountain chain in Kazakhstan (see Risk you board game fans)....and I'm right there with you West. Hoplomachus Victorum campaign came out when I had just pledged for other things and couldn't justify the expense at the time. Will definitely be looking into picking this up when I can and would love to see additional content of both games.
Yes, I would dearly love to watch your good self and my fave co-host of yours dive into a campaign... even if it amplifies the pain of not backing this. I loved the game, just couldn't do it at its time of release. Now, the $ get it Down Under gives me another reason to cry.
Would be cool if you decided to do gameplay for the first campaign. My brother and I occasionally tag team solo games which has always been a lot of fun for us in debating strategies and having two people watch for the rules. Maybe you guys can team up.
Thanks for talking about solo games here Quack-would love to see more of Hoplomachus

I love Victorum!! I am in the middle of my third campaign! It’s such a fun solo game, so much replay, so epic!
Not a discussion at all about this being a next big solo game. Just complaining about the thick chips lol
Victorum is really fun, great game. Had to set it up and leave it to play for a week
The thicker chips for more elite units makes complete sense.
Alright now we get to look at both of them at the same time. Very nice. Thank you.
Ty for this video! Quack!
Any time!

I vote for a play through of Victorum
We-alls would love to see it here or on the patre-all.

Happy to see some playthroughs please. :)
I agree with West though, as a teacher, Youralls makes my ears bleed too.

Would you get this or TMB?
Would be interested in hearing if you encounter what some other folks are running into, that it gets a bit grindy and monotonous after a bit.
The phrase all y'all are looking for is "all y'all"
Victorum doesn’t fit in a kallax. 😢
It does when you remove one of the separators between two adjacent cubes. 😉
No, the old stuff is not compatible.
First. Yay
