Hey Sam, Just wanted to take a minute to say thanks for these vlogs. I found your channel due to the $20k punt that got discussed on CLP. Originally, I of course just wanted to see the hand but that caused me to go all the way back to the beginning of your journey. I've watched almost all of your vlogs now and I will reaffirm what I have seen others saying when I say that your vlog is arguably the best one for players wanting to LEARN. You don't fluff things up too much and you freely admit when you do something boneheaded. We can learn from your good plays as well as your punts. So, anyway, thanks. I'll keep watching as long as you keep it real. I suspect the 'Greatest Punt Of All Time' will pay for itself in new subs for you, or at least partially. Hope to see you in AC sometime although I have no desire to play with you hahaha....
I have had a couple of costly misreads of either the board or my hole cards recently late in some sessions. Sessions where I knew I was past tired and should have left hours earlier. I'm going to make sure that doesn't happen again.
Rather watch him put on his shoes vs sitting on the shitter dusting a cpl farts off, hear the seal crack with a withering fart for emphasis then a muffled grunt and splaaaaaash.......
How did the rest of your sessions go in the states? I know you were having issues finding places allowing you to film. Did you play much in the US after you left Florida?
welcome to Montréal! how long are you staying for? the WSOP circuit is right around the corner. you should definitely think about shooting a few buy-ins! great content btw, love to see a fellow canadian destroy the “french” canadians. hope to see you around playground. enjoy your stay!
Jeez that is horrible, hope you're alright. You can ask a security guard to walk you to your car for a small tip, be aware of your surroundings, make sure no one is following you etc.
Wow, sick session all around. Why do you think the level of play there was so much higher than in all of the US spots? Is it because people are more practiced and studied bc online is more accessible there? I think you faced more overbets there than all the US ones combined lol. Also, I think the 88 hand is an easy fold. Multiway, the way that guy played his hand live was really straightforward. A line like that is rarely a bluff. It may be weird value with like TT-QQ as well. I also think 88 is at the bottom of your range on the river. You'll have all sets, 2p, and 67 there, and even 9x
I didn't play too many public 5/10/20 games in U.S. that may have something to do with it, but Montreal is the only place in all of Canada offering public games this big.
Do you encounter regs who are capable of having bluffs in these super obscure spots? I'm a 2/5 and 5/10 noob, but in live poker i just assume no one has the creative bluffs you would need to profitably call anything but the nuts. Love the content man!
The reason not many people are checking back a straight in that double flush draw board is because it’s a bad play should be following up your c bet with a big bet on dfd turn jam river not sure why you pot control with the disguised nuts
With 53o he raised to 50, called a 3 bet of 250, called 250 bet on the flop with a caller in between and only bottom pair, and gets rewarded with his shit play on the miracle turn. What’s a donkey. Same shit happened to me recently except he had 85o
with the AQ hand, even facing an overbet I think it made sense to rejam rather than call. You probably want to fastplay against A5 A7 57 and deny equity from the many draws he can have calling on the straddle. There's 6 combos you are losing to, but overall I think his 2 pairs call and you print massively, all the more so if he calls some draws.
I'm never raising an overbet, we get snapped off with better, and fold out worse hands that have like 15-20% equity vs us. Overbets are rarely raised by the solver for good reason
Finally a new video! Big fan, literally check every day at lunch to see if you posted, great content man
been binging your videos while i’m out of town for a week. great stuff
Thanks a lot fella! :)

Crazy swingy session! Glad you came out on top
Awesome, you played in my hometown, super cool to watch a vlog made from the room we play at :)
Jeez tough game, congrats on getting outta there with a dub

That mustache need to be removed as soon as possible!
Really enjoyed this one Sam! Keep it up

Ayy anther video!! Enjoyed this one ❤
Incredible VLOG!!!!
Myself and a bunch of friends and family work at Playground. Hope you enjoyed your stay!
What a roller-coaster 😅🍀
Good vlog. There’s so many bad vlogs out there that I only follow a few. What did you think about playground? How does it compare to Parq?
Playground is a lot of fun! Competition is tough though, the regs are much better at Playground than Parq
Do you feel like the Les Stroud, spending the extra time to set up shots of what are normally simple tasks, like putting on shoes? Great video.
Rather watch him put on his shoes vs sitting on the shitter dusting a cpl farts off, hear the seal crack with a withering fart for emphasis then a muffled grunt and splaaaaaash.......

This was my first session since Montreal!
Damn, poutine is $15 up there? Is that normal? lol good to see you back with another long vlog btw.
On the 66 hand, where your opponent donk shoved, what was your thinking on that fold?
Tough session! Glad it worked out. Kept thinking about your table time in TX. Easier money by far eh?
BROOOO! you didn't shot the door when you left. SHEESHHHHHHHHH
They do have it there. PG 5/10 notoriously nitty and usually only runs around one or two players

I was only in town for a few days! I seem to have a knack for missing tournament circuits 😂
So what's the actual nickname of the euro reg?
Hey Sam could you make a video on how you go about editing your vlogs
my fav new poker stream
Babe, wake up. BluffaloSam just posted.
Are you still in Montreal? Should do a meetup game!
Awesome vlog👍
I like this format.
hey sam how do you keep your money safe enterng and exiting the casino? I almost got robbed last night
Jeez that is horrible, hope you're alright. You can ask a security guard to walk you to your car for a small tip, be aware of your surroundings, make sure no one is following you etc.

@BluffaloSam Woodbine in Toronto. 5/10/20 runs almost everyday. Weekends 10/20/40 runs
i mis read the board twice in the last two weeks, so brutal, never done that in like 10 years.
Another awesome video.
Was the title meant as sarcasm? I'm trying to juggle that versus results.

Probably not, live players almost always have it
Hey! i really appreciate your videos, I am a Vancouver local, will be very cool if I can battle you on the felt!
man what an action session
The reason not many people are checking back a straight in that double flush draw board is because it’s a bad play should be following up your c bet with a big bet on dfd turn jam river not sure why you pot control with the disguised nuts
30:42 "We get raised to 525"
Isn't that 550? Your opponent is putting out a pink chip and two green chips.
I know euro reg, he’s a beast and have owned many souls at playground.
Yeah, he's definitely an animal
damn the french canadians can play some poker!
Yes, nice video once again. Reviens nous voir...
With 53o he raised to 50, called a 3 bet of 250, called 250 bet on the flop with a caller in between and only bottom pair, and gets rewarded with his shit play on the miracle turn. What’s a donkey. Same shit happened to me recently except he had 85o
Hahaha it's fine, he was good fun and love someone with a little gamble in them!
You forgot to close the door on your way out...
29:08 You are giving them free information...
As someone who plays at Playground semi regularly, I take offense, and will defend my homeland at the *checks notes* 1-2 table next time you're here.
9 minutes in and you are getting wrecked this session
I recently started a $100k job trucking in the oilfield and I couldn’t stay motivated enough to keep it…WTF is wrong with me
Awesome
Stop by Pickering casino or woodbine !

I would agree, however in this hand it worked out. Basically everything Sam was beating got there on the River. So...lucky mistake, I guess? lol
I'm never raising an overbet, we get snapped off with better, and fold out worse hands that have like 15-20% equity vs us. Overbets are rarely raised by the solver for good reason
Worst feeling in the world when you fold pocket pair and you would've flopped it
I know eh? Really makes me wanna make some overly speculative calls pre
lets goooo
Really dislike your check back with nuts with 8/7 with betting lead and aggressive image
Your play seems a bit too fancy when you actually have a big hand. Just my opinion. Check the nuts on a draw heavy board? No…. No bueno, ever
Maybe just get better at poker then
New challenge 100k to 0 just kidding lol
Punted with 65s hard. I get you're trying to create content tho. Juicier games in TO
POW. Pay off wizard. Lol
You drove from bc to mtl???? 🤮🤮🤮
Yeah, it was no bueno
havent gotten aces in 50 hours. lost 8 of 10 all-ins. Biggest pot was 600bb, 90% favorite on turn. Ahead every street. kill me
you are the biggest fish ive ever seen jajajajajajajajajajaj
POW. Pay off wizard. Lol
