Yaay, thank you so much! So happy you found it helpful. The v-light kit is from ‘Queen hair co’. She sells the full kit on her website, you can use my code ‘sam20’ for a discount ❤️
How do you clean the comb and metal pin tip for the glue after eash use? I would think the pin would get clogged easily, and the comb would get all gunked up. Thanks!
Great question! I don’t do a full head of v light as they are designed to shed from the hair, I prefer to combine them with another method such as weft or k-tips that doesn’t shed and is longer lasting 🥰
Question once I get kit And install can I curl with curling I usually do short haircuts and I would like to add it for extra fullness or maybe someone that’s been certain areas around the hairline or maybe fullness in the bang. Will this be a good decision or would this help my client also was wondering if I’m curling with the iron with the hair slip up because of the heat
Hey! Great question. I would avoid heat at the point of attachment, it can affect the bond and cause it to shed prematurely. This method is great for filling areas such as the hairline, crown, nape or even bang area like you suggested 😊
Can you make a video talking about what your clients prefer? From all different hair types? I’m very interested in trying v light extensions but I want to be able to make sure my client is choosing the right method for them?
OK so if you say it can be removed with alcohol, I'll, or the heat tool, how does it not come out of the client's hair when they wash, style, or treat or condition this scalp as normal???? I'm confused
Great question, removals are done with an alcohol based or sometimes oil based remover and pliers to break down the bond. Heat can affect the bond so I advise clients to use low/medium heat at the point of attachment and don’t hold hot tools down on the bond itself. Washing and shampoos won’t interfere with the bond, and conditioners are used at the mids and ends as are serums, oils etc.
I find the easiest way to remove is with an alcohol based remover and smooth (groove free) pliers. If the removal is done with care no damage should occur.
This tool is a Combline tool. Yes it’s extremely useful to have but as far as I know they don’t sell it on its own. You’ll get it once you take the CombLine class. But it’s from CombLine you’ll see it in my other videos.
@@xsamhair wow thank you for that information. I have a client that is level 2 with 30 vol her natural is 90% white . She is from India. She’s thin on her crown so she’s definitely a candidate for this. But she needs root retouchs 3/4 weeks. Was just curious. I thought maybe I would need to cover the bonded hair with foil?
It could help, but can’t cover bald spots as it does need hair in that area to adhere too. I would recommend looking into a mesh integration system, which could also be combined with this!
Hey great information ❤. Stylist here 👋. Curious ? Can you apply more hair at one time , using the sheild. For example, instead of 1/8 of an inch to 1inch ?
Great question! I haven’t tried it, but I have seen other stylists take bigger sections. My fear is that it would shed A LOT. Buttt always worth experimenting to see how it works.
Hi, I really like your video's 😊. Could you please make a video about how the braids for a hairweave connect on the back of the head, but without a nanoring? (Sorry for my bad English, I hope you understand what I mean 😅). It's about a hairweft that is sewn in horizontal braids.
Hey! Where abouts in London are you? I’m currently in Los Angeles, but would be happy to refer you to someone that’s London based (I also know stylists in Essex/hertfordshire/surrey)
Great question! I do it as an add on service, these are designed to naturally shed from the hair so I typically combine them with another extension method such as wefts or k-tips 😊
I’m based in Los Angeles, price depends on how many areas we’re doing. I usually advise combining it with another method if you’re looking to create length & volume.
Thanks which hair extensions do you use!?
You’re welcome 🙏💕 I go to Bellami Perofesional.
Hi! I love, love, love your tutorial. You're very thorough! I might have missed it. Where can I purchase the V-light machine? Thanks!

Im a licensed cosmetologist based in L.A . Do you teach training for this?
Hey! Not currently, I took my class with ‘queen hair co’ - she offers virtual education and the full kit 😊
Amazing video!! Thank you for helping me decide 😊
My pleasure! So happy it helped 🥰
Hi awesome video!
Where in L.A. is your salon? Are you taking new clients? I currently use tape ins but would love to add the V lite! Thank you!
How do you clean the comb and metal pin tip for the glue after eash use? I would think the pin would get clogged easily, and the comb would get all gunked up. Thanks!
Correct! I wipe it down after each use, but recommend replacing frequently to prevent build up.
super informative. I'm curious is this good for a full install?

This was very informative.
Thank you! Happy you found it helpful 🥰
Very informative, great presentation… would these be okay on hair loss due to illness, they look fantastic! Thank you ❤
Great question! I would advise to book in for a consultation, but this method is definitely a great option for fine/thin/fragile hair 🥰
Do you reuse hair for v light Extentions or every time it’s required to use new hair? Thanks
New hair each time - but not much hair is required, I would say about 15 grams of hair each time 😊
This information was very useful, thank you very much🙏🏾

Can you reuse the hair or do you need to purchase new hair with every install?
New hair each time - very minimal hair is needed, so I tend to find that one pack of hair (25gram) can last up to 3 installs 🥰
Having thin hair and wanting to protect all I have, I am concerned about damage during removal? Will it pull out or damage your own hair?
I find the easiest way to remove is with an alcohol based remover and smooth (groove free) pliers. If the removal is done with care no damage should occur.
What is the link to the weave queen and where can I get the comb? Thank you! You’re amazing!

Yes! I’ve done it and haven’t experienced any problems, I typically will apply the color above the point of attachment 😊

Are they buying new extensions each time? How do you reuse these if not?
New extensions each time, I charge per area which includes the hair 😊

I’ll make a more detailed video soon about the placement 🥰

Hey! Thank you so much. I actually don’t do the braided method, I only use the beads when doing a foundation for wefts. So sorry!
Is this good for a thinning hairline at the front?
To make it fuller? ❤❤
Yes that exactly what it was designed for 🙏💞
@@xsamhairaww cool. Hopefully you might do a video on a front thinning hairline with these to show how well they match up ❤❤❤❤❤
Sure I’ll put that on my content list 💕🙏

Yes! Coming soon, I will upload next week 🥰
How long does it last ????
It naturally sheds from the hair, I typically do infill appointments every 4-6 weeks 🥰
How would you price this? I have never done comb line extensions.
