@@randomdreamer1619 ur comparing graphic fidelity and details to resolution. I agree all on LOW is the best, but resolution actually matters in CS2 more than in CSGO, the visibility, player contrast and overall brigthness in CS2 is a problem. Try peeking inferno on mid as CT @ 1024x768 and see someone on ramp, u wont see shit unless u have awp. Same is for long on D2 from site to pit, u wont see anything. Higher res makes it better to spot the enemy models at large distances
1920x1080 needs to be your res unless you played 1.6, period. 4:3 gives you no advantage that 1920x1080 doesn't already give. "wider character models" ok but they are moving at higher speeds which means your eyes will not adjust quickly enough to hit these shots if you are not experienced on 4:3. Like VERY experienced. 1920x1080 also makes you a more precise aimer at speed. It forces you to place your shots more accurately, but the character models are moving at would I say "normal" speed not necessarily slower. tl;dr - play at 1920x1080 and don't go higher or lower because you are hurting yourself in the long run, may even cause some eye fatigue/strain.

Hey Guys, i wanted to find a way to increase my fps bc I have a low performance laptop (not for gaming), do you think that lowering my default resolution from 2160:1440 to like 1680:1050 or 1440:900 (Because they have similar proportions to 2160:1440) will increase my fps?
