It was a agood review, however the music should either be lowered or replaced with you travelling at the time and if the wind noise is too much or you had technical issues on the day, just voice over as you did. You did cover the mpg but you didnt state how much range you got out of the tank on your long journeys. We can always calculate this according to the stats, but I always think that a real world range (depending on how you ride) is always a better way to gauge it. Anyway keep up the good work and all the best!!👍🏿
when i go into the RUclips thing i hadn't done anything like this before ad was very nieve i thort it would be easy after 4 years of learning i still know i know nothing so any help is appreciated
@@Ridingreviews Hey fella, don't be so hard on yourself. Yes every step we take is a learning curve and that applies to all within our world, but never say you know nothing because you have been here for a very long time. Stay positive and try to learn from the lessons you go through and you will continue to grow. I have been watching your channel on and off for years so you can't be that bad pal because believe me, I have watched some absolute crap before. Lol You come across as honest and humble, person who is learning as they take this RUclips journey and I admire that and also the fact that you are still here. No matter what keep going!! Have a lovely Sunday afternoon and dig into a good roast, you deserve it!!
I have an ‘04 in purple and it looks identical to this ‘14 model, lol. I bought it in 2020 as my first ever two wheel machine and still have it. I’ve since added a ‘21 FXLRS to the garage but can’t bring myself to part with my swing. Such a reliable, capable, versatile, bike to turn to. I bought it thinking I would never need anything more than this and that it would be easy to learn on and it checks the boxes. I only bought a Harley because, you know. Once you start riding, something happens to you. It’s unexpectedly fun to ride! The little baby wheels and low center of gravity. Tons of storage and the capability to haul yourself and a passenger long distances with ease. Leave it to Honda. Too bad scooters aren’t more popular here in the USA but practical isn’t in our nature it seems. My swing has over 31k miles on it and I wouldn’t hesitate to take it anywhere. I don’t imagine I’ll ever part with it.
I am on my second Silver Wing. First sold with 98.000km. Second took now now 39.000 Abs 2008 model in excellent condition pretty cheap. Never saw the rain or bad weather. Was driven only in nice weather. Engine underneath looks like brand new. Front forks are soft as they were with 2001 model. Well It seems I have to get use to it.😂😂
dude i also have a 2006 fjs400, please bro put in 23gr dr pulley sliders, it’s SO MUCH FASTER! literally tranformed it to a whole different bike, my dad rides a stock fjs600 and with these new sliders i absolutely smoke him.
I recon this was at least £1000 underpriced , wish I had seen it at the time it was for sale , a local dealer has a 2007 model with much higher milage and priced at 3000 , whether they get that much will have to wait and see but they do seem to sell all the second hand bikes they get in .
generally dealers sell them for more due to them needing by law to add 3 months warranty to it but yes it was cheap and it was a good bike the new owner was very happy and he drove it over 100 miles home
@@Ridingreviews Probably way too heavy for me. I have a 250 and 450 and the perfect size for me would be a 350. 250cc I love for weight and gas thrifinesss but only if I have nothing to carry but my self. Use only for fun runs or under 15 mile drives or if avlong journey only if I return in same day. 450 is great for highway speeds and traveling long jouneys with spare clothes and picking up biweekly groceries but a heavy tall and dangerous bike. Esp. trying to hold it up stopped on wet pavement or anythime stopped with passenger on back. You have to time your traffic lights to avoid as many stops as possible with a passenger. If a 600 fell over I'd never get it up
These bikes does NOT have good fuel economy. Especially not the older versions, that took over 0.6l per 10km. The newer nes are slightly better. Bit in the scooter world it’s high. And considering the engine is only putting out 50hp, it’ actually poor. There are motorcycles with over twice that power consuming less fuel
