Kenneth Anderson enjoyed an advantage Jim Corbett didn't have until the end of his career. That is, a Studebaker car and a rifle-mounted spotlight. That made all the difference in his success!
I have been a follower of Corbett and Anderson, perhaps since before you were born. It's refreshing to hear these stories again as narrated by you. Well done and look forward to more.
@@ropeburnsrussell that certainly helps with that so thanks once more. I'm happy with a small but interested audience. Never did this to become a youtuber or anything but as long as there is a steady growth in the number of people who listen to these, I'd happily do it for as long as there's material to read.
Thankyou for the amount of work you have put into all of these videos. Listening to all of your videos helped keep me from going insane at my last job.
I'm trying to, Mr. Syed! This was something I recorded a long time ago. I originally planned to upload a story by a different writer and the recording was almost done too but something happened and it got held up (atleast for now). Anyway, I appreciate all your comments. Keep them coming!
Wonderful read. My uncle was a fan of Corbett and Andreson and i had read many of their books in middle school days. It is a little disapppinted that Anderson occasionally leaves out his methods of deduction, like for ex. How he deduces that it was a tigress and not a male.
If only the tiger was allowed to go on being a maneater until it ate up to thousand, it would have spoke the karnataka language eloquently, but sadly man had to interfere with nature, how sad
@@selvalore There's actually a youtube video showing after a leopardess kills a nursing baboon mother, trying to care for the infant baboon, a maternal instinct taking over... However they eat different kinds of food, and the baby died in a few hours. Letting my imagination run wild, if I may... A wandering leopardess may have stumbled upon a tiger cub when the tigress mother was away, kidnapped the cub, and raised as if her own, and taught hunting strategy to her foster daughter...
Dear Sir, your narration is fist class and would be especially suited to any similar Indian tales. Would you consider doing Rudyard Kiplings The Jungle books? I believe they may be out of copyright.
Thank you for commenting Paul! I haven't thought about that. There are already some very good audio recordings of the Jungle book on YT but I might consider doing it at some point in the future.
@@selvalore Sir, thank you so much for your prompt reply. Please don't let the fact that there are other versions out there discourage you. Your diction, your enunciation, your clarity, your pacing and above all your accent would make your version superb and stand out above others. Personally I had the good fortune to visit India many many times in the past, though some years ago now and and my fond memories of both the people and the country make your tales something I treasure. Once again my grateful thanks, and I hope one day to hear The Jungle Books on your channel.

Great reading sir. It looks like she (the Hermit) was raised by a leopard instead of a tigress.
Thank you again Mr. Trivedi! That's perfectly plausible. I didn't think of that at all.
