How do you keep water out of those round open grooves in the mounting plate? I installed the white mounting plate and the inside of the junction box is exposed to the elemts from those long skinny openings on the mounting plate. What to do?
My Internet provider gave me a new modem, which only has 5.5 GHz, no 2.4 GHz option. How does this work? I was unable to pair. The Geeni app also asks to scan a barcode. I don't see a barcode on the geeni camera. Suggestions please. Thank you.

Thank you for videos. My issues: no alert when motion or even person. HELP PLEASE. no floodlight on timer working, just red lights on lamps. HELP PLEASE. Ive looked at other videos. only swivels up and down not sideways so lighting up my plants and part of driveway NO memory cards installed yet.
For the motion settings, Check Motion Sensitivity and Detection Area. For the timer, those red lights me n that the camera is in night mode. Click on "Light", then "Timer". It will say "Add Timer" and you can pick time, which days, etc. for the timer.
I'm thinking of purchasing this light for my home. The mounting boxes are underneath eaves will the configuration of the mount work for me? It's on sale for Amazon prime day.

Enter the email for your account and it will send a code to that email. Enter the code and it will let you reset your password.
I appreciate you. I was struggling to figure out that third wire, and i only saw the black and white.
The third wire is ground. If you don't have a ground wire to connect, just tape the end of the wire with electrical tape.

Sorry, the floodlight only works with 2.4GHz networks.
I had to change my networks title to 2.4GHz and it tricked my camera into thinking I had 2.4 even tho I have 5.5. maybe that will help

It should work as long as you have enough space for the floodlight. Dimensions of the floodlight are 10.5" width and 5" height.

No, you have to replace the entire floodlight.

There is no separate power switch to turn it on or off in the camera. You need to add the switch to the circuit that provides power to the camera.
