How I learned to speak Spanish: A Typical day learning Spanish in Elefun school, Medellin Colombia.

- Before I arrived, I didn't speak spanish except knowing a few words from Duo Lingo. Two months later, I'm able to hold a conversation (even though not being fluent) thanks to attending Elefun school.
I also write about my travels in a newsletter 💌 (wbmtrk.com/newsletter) The RUclips channel along with the newsletter is imho the best combo to have the best context.. and insight on other stories 😊.

Glad i found this. I'm going in April and stay there for a few months to learn Spanish as well. Although I'm going to Total Spanish school as it has great reviews but I'll look this up as well.

I've actually been planning to go to medellin to learn Spanish later this year, was actually thinking of going to elefun. it is also an excuse to see someone I know that lives there but I'll see how that goes later on if I do go

According to google Toucan has permanently closed and merged with blink (I’ve never heard of) can you confirm this? Also if so, are they still offering the same language style and outings
The class seems super chill and conversational. Love that. Did you mostly take private classes or group classes too? How often did you take classes?
Hey Audrey ! if you go, you'll love it !! I was there for 3 months full time, monday to friday group classes because I wanted to interact with others (living the same concerns / issues as I) Best decision i did and you won't regret it

Hey Mathew !! Thank you so much I appreciate it ! I think there was a lot into play that made me learn much faster than i should have. other than going to school, being immersed in an environment where you talk 24/7 really kicked things into high gears for me ! having friends, talking to uber taxis, etc all of that helped and getting also accustomed to new words, how fast people talk and etc

Hi brother, a company called Expat group they are into visa processing. i want to learn Spanish and they introduce me to this school, please are they well recognize school by government of Colombia?
Brother sorry for taking this long ! Elefun has definitely been growing they’ve opened up a new school downtown 2 years ago, however even if everything is legit, I don’t know if they’d be recognized by the government. If it is necessary I’d recommended going through one of Colombia’s universities, however if not, you definitely will be in an environment that will teach and help you learn :)
