It's really expensive knowing they will not work together. I'm hoping I can send the new in box cgy760r to futaba for the latest firmware. I don't want the buy the hardware and laptop to do an update that may not work. 😔
Hi Nick, I’m interested on purchasing the CGY760 with the Program box. Would it be too much to ask if you can do a full setup video but with Futaba SG? Thank you so very much.
Great video. Nick, couple of questions please. 1. With my current 18SZ and GPB Wireless integration via the trainer port, I have to plug the box in once each time I swap between models for tuning. Is this the case with the 16IZ, or is this the ID matching you mentioned earlier? I.e., does the radio cache more than one unit's settings? Example, I've been flying model A and making tweaks. I want to get out Model B and tune (just the 'safe' flying paramateres, NOT setup stuff) it. Is the cable involved here at all? 2. If I assign CGY conditions to a switch, lets say DG1. When I'm in the Gyro Setting menu on the 16IZ, will the active FBL Condition change depending on stick position, or does one have to select the condition manually on the setting page to change parameters on that condition? Just to clarify, I'm referring to C1/C2/C3 on the CGY, not the Tx conidtions such as idle 1/3/Hold etc. Thanks!
Hi Nick,Do you have a video setup for CGY760r to futaba 32mz and a nitro heli.I already trying to the one you did but it wasn't work.the setting in the CGY760r its done well.when I tried to connect from gyro to transmitter I can't not find the gyro setting in the transmitter. Thank you.Nelson
I have had Futaba in the past. I simply don’t understand Futaba’s Approach to setup of fbl and transmitter. Everyone else” let’s do this, it’s a easy way to setup” now Futaba “ everyone else is doing it the easy way. Let’s not do that. Let’s reverse that and add a lot pointless features to do the same thing, so it’s much harder and take twice as long to do a setup 🤦🏻♂️”
i need help. i found a bug in the 16iz to cgy 760 power and programming. So wired from the back of tx going to the pbox port on gyro is the issue. When you plug the servo cable from tx into pbox port there is no power to the gyro unit. So most folks power on the gyro from a battery source. However the issue is when you enter wired programming mode on the tx the radio now provides power to the gyro. I found out when I unplugged external battery from gyro while still in programming ode on radio, after unplugging power stayed on to the gyro. This is not good as your not supposed to run power to the pbox port. THere is no documentation anywhere on this. This sucks because that is one expensive mistake with futaba.
This is awesome Nick! Thanks for taking the time to put it together. It helps A Lot!
Great setup video Nick.. thanks for taking the time to go thru it..
What’s up nick maxwell. Good to see you again
I have the 18sz do you have any video setting up a helicopter with the beast X
NOT EVERYBODY CAN AFFORD THAT HIGH DOLLAR RADIO!

thanks for your videos, they are very helpful... are you going to upload something about the collective pitch? it would be great
Nice one Nick. Do you know what the cyclic refresh rate changes to when selecting 760uS centre servos? Is it still 285Hz?

May I know the different between reducing the AFR rate in the transmitter than reduce the cyclic rate in the gyro ? Thank you
thank you for your demo, but i have a question. if i buy goblin raw 420 direct drive(DD) , so many magnet pole. CGY760 or 755 can support DD ???

Sur would have been nice to know the t16iz can't be linked to the cgy760r with out the 3.2 update. 😔
CAN YOU DO IT WITH THE GPB-1 BOX

Not only that, Futaba pricing sucks. Their 8 channel receiver cost nearly thr same as my flybarless unit with built in Jeti receiver from Spirit.
