How to install Windows Server 2022 in VMware Workstation Pro

Demonstration on how to install Windows Server 2022 in VMware Workstation Pro 16. The current edition of Workstation Pro (Version 16.2.4 July 2022) does not offer the Windows Server 2022 VM configuration out of the box. But Microsoft Windows Server 2019 and Microsoft Windows Server 2022 have compatible VM requirements.

At 2:30 you may select the ISO file at that step if you have a full copy of Windows Server 2022. But if you select the option for later installation, you can either use the Evaluation Edition or the full version as you will be attaching/mounting the ISO file in the VM settings 10:09.
