- Hello my friends and welcome to the new video. 😊 Today, I am doing a single book review of the memoir - Waypoints: My Scottish Journey by Sam Heughan.
This was a spontaneous buy for me but I honestly couldn´t be more grateful for giving this book a chance, because it spoke to me so so much that I wanted to share it with you.
I hope you´ll enjoy the video. Please let me know if you already read the book, or if you are planning to.
Thank you for watching 🥰

Love when the book you need to read appears in your life at the right time! Sounds very inspirational!
🥰
I've never heard about this book before, but it sounds so interesting. I follow you on Instagram, but I didn't know you have a RUclips channel, so it was a very pleasant surprise to find you here too. 😀 Thanks for sharing!
Thank you 🥰 haha likewise, just subscribed! 🥳
Walking the West Highland Way would be a lovely thing to do. I hope you get to do it. A great review. I love it when you find a book that speaks to you personally. We often see 'successful' people without realising all the difficulties they've experienced to get there. I really wish you all the best of luck in finding the work you would like. Good Luck
Thank you Debra 🥰🥰
11Like done super. Happy Sunday❤👍👌
Thank you. Happy Sunday🥰
What a lovely review Beki! It’s so special when you find a book you can really connect with. I saw your Instagram post on his talk, I really hope you got to go! Also - selfies with mushrooms, did I hear that right? To each their own I suppose! 😊
Thank you Lisa 🥰 Yes haha...he even has one in a book 😂
Omg Becky. I was a SUPER FAN of Sam a few years ago when I first discovered Outlander. I think I saw every single interview he did back then haha and he really is very funny! I have to be honest, even though I was a super fan, for some reason I wasn’t interested in his books (a bit more interested in Clanlands than this one), BUT you have completely sold me to it. You had me at mushroom conversations! 😂 I’ve added it to my TBR. I’ll see if I can get the audiobook, I’d love to hear Sam reading it ❤️
haha yaaay I am so glad you added it on your TBR, just hope you´ll like it at least half as much as I do 😂🥳 Oh yessss! I would absolutely get audiobook but I wanted to have a physical copy as well and I am glad bc I could underline stuff 😋
I really enjoyed Sam in Outlander (even though I had mixed feelings about the show itself), and this book sounds so cool! I love the idea of a person going on a journey while also remembering the past and the difficulties which brought them to that spot. You definitely convinced me to add this to my TBR!
Oh I feel the same 😂 Yaay great, hope you´ll have a chance to read it and will enjoy it too! 🥰
(Also thank you for sharing your personal story and connection with the book. I love when books speak to you directly like that ❤️)
Thank you 🥰🤗
This sounds so so good. And he is so pretty 😍
I’m so glad that you found this book just when you needed it 🧡
🥰🥰
The Sparrow by Mary Doria Russell. A finely wrought exploration of human suffering.
