- Like so many historic houses across the UK, Deans Court is full of wonderful treasures. I join owner Sir William Hanham to marvel at a mysterious Elizabethan ring belonging to one of his ancestors. And enjoys the delights of a Victorian music box. www.deanscourt.org

I will take a moment to appreciate the great quality of Julie's videos!
Wow, thank you!
Another great video on Dean's Court. The story about the ring was fascinating & how the medium told that story, which was close to the truth about it. The music box sounds great to this day. Love all those historical facts about the homes you visit. Thanks
I have enjoyed too !!!!
Love the Deans Court series. The 1300 year old monastery blows my mind and the fact they uncovered it in the basement rooms. AmAzInG!!!😍
Wow, a gardener found it and sold It ! Thank goodness the Jeweler turned over to the Solicitor!!
That music box is beautiful!

Beautiful and fascinating stories. Great video tfs 👍😊
I love the story about the ring
Love, love this
How wonderful to hear history via the musical box!! The close up it playing reminds me of a movie intro. Imagine all the gatherings that happened with that playing in the background, how beautiful!
I’ve always loved music boxes. I remember tearing one apart as a child so I could see how it worked. Seeing all the little pins on the spindle lifting the little keys! This one is so lovely to see. Thanks for sharing 💕
That ring is an amazing find! Yeah, I would be out there in the gardens with the metal detector! And so cool about the story of the medium, which was really popular at that time. In the US, Edgar Cayce was a prominent medium. What a wonderful music box! I love your job.
I first saw you on Housewives of London. You are such a lovely, gracious person. Love these videos! Keep up the good work!
I am so happy to discover you 🌹🌹🌹 I admire British history and all the treasures inside
Beautiful episode Julie! Thank you!
You are so welcome!
Loved the Victorian music box! Could have listened to that music all day.
Thank you so very much Julie! I’ve loved each of the Dean’s Court videos! Absolutely wonderful!
Loved this video and the stories revealed. Thank you!
The ring and story was so neat then you show us the music box wow ❤️. 🇺🇸
Absolutely lovely! It just needs the little ballerina twirling on top lol.
Absolutely fascinating, Julie! First that historic ring, and then the amazing music box. The skill required making it boggles my mind. I am just thrilled to be witnessing these treasures along with you, and our forum friends. We know what is coming next will be just as interesting.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Music box in headphones 🎶🎶🎶😌
Give the baronet a slot on Antiques Roadshow!
Two more fascinating secrets revealed at Deans Court! How wonderful to have such preserved, living family history here in Dorset ❤️
Looks like this will be so very lovely!!
The music 🎶!!!!!
growing up in the 1960/70's, many of my toys had music makers of that style, just much smaller.
I have one of those music boxes and one of the disc ones. My grandparents had them and they are amazing memories when I play them!
How wonderful!!
Absolutely fascinating!! Thank you so much Julie.
Just fascinating! I love this series.
It is so interesting to see how you preserve so much history and preserve family and national histories. How do you deal with infamous relatives such as the 10th Earl?
I love the story of the ring. It’s so mysterious!
What treasures! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Wonderful place 🤗
I would like to see more of Deans Court.
I love those historic houses. 🤩
More to come!
Your drone footage shows that Dean’s Court could use a visit from Partridge Exterior Cleaning for their roof!
Fascinating video, thank you. I am extremely curious to know about the beautiful piano behind you in the early scene. Cheers
👏🏼
Hi Julie...whatvhappened to your Italian home videos? You inspired me to seriously consider buying something
I'm back in Italy in 2 weeks time and will be filming then. Renovations have begun and I have some great footage that I will share in for a vlog soon!
@@AmericanViscountess can't wait. Love your content. Thank you
Wish there was a lot more treasures to show and share feels like 2 was not enough for all the history the house has
That was a time piece. Or a stereo!

I'm sorry if I'm being crossing the line, but I wonder if Sir William Hanham has son as heir? Because titles (mostly) are only passed down to male line descendants. But here I can only see Sir William has a daughter.
I mean Deans Court is some 1,300 years old estate.
Don’t know exactly, but the royals have changed law quite recently so that line off kings and queens 👸 doesn’t go directly to males! It goes from eldest downwards! Bye from London 🌹
🥰🙏🏻😘😘
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
This is beautiful. So sad that that woman was imprisoned in the tower of London... likely for just being Catholic. It was that time of history that the English protestant government was imprisoning and murdering people just for their loyalty to the Catholic Church.
Speaking as someone who married into a family with a strong English heritage and as a Catholic. My husband's family was once quite close to the royal family as Lord Chief Justice before the revolutionary war. Now, what's left of the family is in the United States.
What is that thing on the wall behind you. It’s grotesque and distracting. Lol. Treasures to one person… you can still buy the music boxes to this the day. I have several that are a smaller version.
