I'm so happy that Shiyi decided to fight back. Erniang needed a taste of her own karma. She was so hateful/willing to destroy her sister just to become the wife of Marquis Lingyi. I don't feel bad for Erniang at all. She put herself in harms way because she wanted to change her destiny at the expense of Shiyi. My hats goes off to Shiyi because she played the game perfectly/reversed what Erniang set in motion. Now she's about to experience karma at its best.
erniang isnt that bright. her plans aren’t well thought through. she catches on well and maneuvers along with to get closer to her goal. but she never considered how to not implicate herself incase her plans backfires. she never calculates that she is indeed playing a board game with others rather than them being pieces on her board. instead of herself, she could have used someone else to pretend as shiyi. but no.
