In Cincinnati, we love Joe. He has turned more people into fans than ever before. Both my daughter and husband hated football, I have always been a fan. We all have season’s tickets in the jungle now and try to make it to away games. My daughter hated football, she now loves it and we all buy tons of Bengal clothes from the NFL shop. Thank you, Joey B.

I am a New Englans Patriots fan, I recognize that Joe Burrow is an elite and amazing QB, this season Burrow has shown incredible stats, but at the same time and unfortunately, Burrow is being so wasted by the Bengals. I would love to see Burrow win a Superbowl someday. Greetings from Mexico.

With or without Burrow, this franchise and what runs it will never be willing to do, spend, or get what it takes. This has gone on since the 1960s. What has in fact changed? What will change even if it is freaking obvious? Luck? That is what the Super Year was complete luck before the Rams exposed them.

The offensive line has done a nice job of creating a pocket for him to move around this season. It’s the part of his game that has elevated the most this year and a large part of it is because the OL is at least average. The Bengals dropped the ball on the secondary this year but the OL has improved significantly since the first few years Joe was playing. I think the first round pick of Amarius Mims was a good pick that will pay off as he gets more play time. He did a really nice job vs Parsons in their last game.

Right now the Bengals have the three best "performing" players in the league: Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase, and Trey Hendrickson. Joe Burrow, with brave hearts Chase and Hendrickson, has managed to win games when all else was in disarray. If Burrow had a winning team he'd infact be the MVP. Chase presently has bragging rights as the numero uno receiver in the league and Hendrickson has been a one-man wrecking-ball. The Bengals ownership doesn't deserve these three players!

Great vid but need to include Burrow coming back from a broken throwing hand before his last year at Ohio state
    Also
The beginning of every season Burrow has had a medical reason to not be playing at the top of his game yet
2020 rookie, covid so alot less practices/no preseason, season ending knee injury
2021 coming back from major knee surgery, not as mobile at beginning of season
2022 extended hospitalization for appendix, lost significant weight, not in peak football shape at beginning
2023 calf so was a statue in pocket for 5 weeks so got hit a ton, then season ending wrist injury (2nd surgery on throwing hand)
2024 1st QB to ever have this wrist surgery so even Joe said he wasn't sure how everything would go especially at beginning of season

Burrow is good enough, actually better, than most QBs in the NFL and plays the most difficult and only true franchise position. Unfortunately, he works for an organization that is SUPPOSED to be experienced at what they do and lacks the commitment needed to it's city and fanbase. In short, they take a good thing, which Burrow certainly is, mismanage the rest of the ash and trash, and totally waste and ruin it. How can they call themselves professionals?

The owner who spends will just be able to sell it for more. When Bengals win SB for Ohio then the owner can sell at peak. Got to get the right players and defense. Hire them some Pete Carroll or Bill B. They’d win. Zach is good but what are these slow seasons or lags? Got to get his players up. McVay took a worst team to the top mostly by his sheer enthusiasm and heart on the field. Yes I see you do that awesome play and I’m going to celebrate you. None went unseen until he had a team of players realizing they were being celebrated for all the good they were exerting on field. Celebrate the team and get up! I know the team is and they just have an understated style. But they need to have strong starts to the season.

None of it matters if he has zero time to throw on 3rd down and the unfortunate truth is he's maybe the 5th best in a crowded field, and I'm no fan of RB1 Lamar. Burrow throws picks that are absolute momentum killing and takes brutal hits on too many occasions, not his fault but he is doomed if Mike Brown doesn't sell the team.

The Bengals CHOSE Burrow... the Bengals could have literally chosen anyone in 2020 but THEY CHOSE BURROW.
The Bengals hadn't chosen a QB since 2011 which was in the 2nd round... say what you want but Andy's results with the Bengals were better than all the QBs taken before him in 2011 besides Cam and he had better results than the majority of QBs drafted for many years after him. Explain that
The Bengals could've chosen Mahomes in 2017 or another QB several other years since 2011 but they didn't. I firmly believe that Mahomes could have easily been a bust if he had landed with any other head coach in 2017
There are a ton of QB busts especially from the first round... because the expectations after the first round aren't high and don't typically have good results... yet the Bengals had 5 straight winning seasons and 5 straight playoff berths including Andy's rookie year... back when only 6 teams made the playoffs in the AFC

Bates got $16M per year which the Bengals supposedly offered slightly more per year than Falcons but $10M less guaranteed... Jesse basically said so at his locker. I bet if Bengals offered that $10M guaranteed then Atlanta would just keep upping it bc Mulageta has some kind of weird relationship with Falcons GM and was talking to other teams when he wasn't "allowed" to and Bengals/Mulugheta supposedly had a verbal agreement fir Bates contract then Mulugheta went back on his word which proved Mulageta word means nothing. Probably why maybe Tee supposedly thought he might've had a done deal 2 yrs ago
Orlando Brown got $16.6M per year and got $16.6M at signing bonus. But Orlando also took a discount at $16M per year when his replacement in KC got $20M per

Bates had a competitive offer very close to what he accepted in Atlanta. Also, Reader supposedly was using Lions to get Bengals to match the lions at $7M guaranteed before he got on the plane. Lions gave reader $11M per year for 2 yrs with $7M guaranteed and Bengals gave rankins $12.25M per year with $8M guaranteed so I really think the Bengals were concerned about DJ major injuries the last 2 years. DJ admitted on camera months prior that he came to Cincy because they offered him $1M more than anyone else and made him the top paid at the time

Appeared that Bates wanted to stay in Cincy at 1st but seemed he didn't after he got tagged (and maybe wanted to be in Atlanta regardless at that point ... after 2 years of being disappointed in not getting ext here). I wanted them to keep Bates but I don't like how Mulugheta does business or Troy Blackburn (Bengals negotiator)... they are the same in their cut throat fashion... they both go nuclear to easily, not caring how it affects their players or team... others can handle the business so much better even with the same outcomes. If neither one of them can actually negotiate then both have zero business having a job as a negotiator imo
Tee is super resilient man, Tee isn't leaving without a fight... gotta respect that he is fighting to get what he wants.
Whitworth said he REALLY wanted to stay too but decided to leave because of how Troy Blackburn (negotiates contracts) reacted to him when Whit went to him to finalize a 1 year extension that Mike Brown gave him (whit negotiated directly with Mike). Troy refused to finalize the contract and told whit he didn't want anything to do with it and didn't agree with it (which surprised whit)... and whit said after that he got his agent involved for the 1st time when Troy wanted to negotiate a year later... and his agent convinced him to go where he was appreciated even tho he REALLY wanted to stay for less money but decided to go where he was really wanted & appreciated (search "Andrew Whitworth letter" for 2024 RUclips interview)
I don't know what happened with Geno Atkins besides injuries... supposedly they tried to get him to come back

Whit left because of Troy Blackburn and his negative interaction with Troy after he went to Troy to finalize the 1 year extension Mike Brown gave Whit.
